I don't know why, but just seeing this in the list of review links made me laugh.

Look on the bright side -- your city has been immortalised in a Morrissey song. Add that to George Romero's zombie films and Pittsburgh, PA will be on Top 10 Places to Visit lists before you know it.

"The "celibate" Morrissey claims, "There are explosive kegs/In-between my legs." Someone's fibbing."

Ten minutes' worth of research would have uncovered that Morrissey hasn't claimed to be celibate for approximately twenty years.

one is pissed about the boycott, and the other pissed about morrissey wanting god to choose them for an early death.

oh it's kinda funny.

Except for Lindsey Blazin who loves the one who hates her, the other Pitts reviewers get personal and ask, or pointedly don't ask, what did we do to deserve the aspersion? Aaww...

    Let's get things straight :
    - In Morrissey's discography, the best albums are Viva Hate, Vauxhall and I. They're both part of the 6 "unremarkable" solo albums.
    - On YHKM, he does not quote italian "pop" culture. What did you smoke to describe Pasolini, Visconti or Anna Magnani as part of a pop culture ? They are probably in the top ten of all time film makers.
    - Morrissey doesn't write EMO.

    Please forget journalism.

I wrote a letter to the editor for the Penn State review. The guy obviously didn't put an ounce of effort into it and was more interesting in his own wit (he has none).. His smugness pissed me off. I suggest others write a letter as well. http://www.collegian.psu.edu/interactive/letters/l etters_formauto.asp?pageurl=/archive/2006/04/04-07 -06tdc/04-07-06darts-08.asp

i've posted this before but here it is again : upon reading the full lyrics to "on the streets i ran" - i am now not so sure that the pittsburgh mention is meant as disrespect. quite the opposite actually. morrissey seems to be saying "don't kill me, kill anyone else, the new-born, the infirm, even people from pittsburgh, before you kill me." that kind of sounds like a compliment to me.
