    No intention of going myself but there will be less pressure on the Manchester tickets now I hope! Small venues too hope there is another Preston or even Blackpool!

      Probably safe to assume all the UK dates will be announced before any go on sale at least thats what I hope. Still seems a strange way to announce a tour a few concerts at a time when people might have already made travel or accomodation arrangements for concerts that they may not now wish to attend. Goodluck with the tickets folks!!

      Since Coachella is April 29/30 I assume this means he won't make it? I know it's possible, just doesn't seem like he would jet to SoCal just for it.

      Any idea when the tickets for these gigs go on sale? The only venue i know about apart for Glasgow is Stirling. It's really very small and is all-seating. I am so very excited.

          These venues are really strange how big is the town of greenock?I heard a rumor on a football forum that tickets go on sale on 27th jan but there is alot of shit on there so....When will the rest of the dates be getting announced over the next few days like these ones?

            This is but a dream come true. Small venues give true fans an opportunity to see their icons in their on backyard in a more intimate setting. Also I don't have to travel to the grimey grubby cities for a change (even though I love to really). Morrissey in the Albert Hall Stirling is one I would love, more cosmic and interesting than some concerts in recent years there such as the Proclaimers and Midge Ure. Thank goodness that the enigma and eccentricity live on. Thanyou Moz, see you in Stirling.

              Edinburgh Corn exchange was probably my favourite Morrissey concert so far. The sound wasn't perfect, but it didn't seem to matter. 2000-3000 all-standing venues are the best!

                  Just a warning to all you lovely Morrissey fans, now I know you're not the shinking violets the media like to think you are (I should know I've been at the front of many a Morrissey gig) but if any of you are off to the Greenock gig be aware of the local ned/chavs they are legion. They'll probably be sniffing around looking to "Wind up the mad goffik dafties"
