PEAVEY WOLFGANG USED ON MORRISSEY WORLD TOUR 04 - eBay item #7365123570

Description:
For auction this one of a kind peavey wolfgang usa custom shop paint job guitar, this guitar was originally made for a guitar show called namm where it was made using only the finest grade of wood that was selected for this show piece guitar.

The general condition of the guitar is exellent with only a few minor scratch's on the back and side's which is awesome considering it was used on all of Morrissey's world tour.

This guitar was owned by Boz Borrer who is the lead guitarist for Morrissey and was used during Morrissey's 2004 world tour which makes this guitar very sought after, incuded with the guitar is the Morrissey dvd put the m in manchester where the guitar is used on 4 song's including rubber ring, jack the ripper and in the guitar case there is still a piece of papper that was stuck on the guitar when i got it with the cords to a song that was played on top of the pops by Morrissey this is 100% genuine see the picture others can supplied on request.

This Eddie Van Hallen wolfgang has a lovely japanese flag style paint job, has a fantastic birds eye maple neck, a pattented floyd-rose drop 'd' tunner with floating trem ie whammy and a wolfgang moulded case. (case has alot of marks after being toured with)

It's worth mentioning that the wolfgang guitar in general is no longer made so this one is even more unique!

  • I was going to say, "Hey Boz, I know you love eBay, so awesome!"

But, is it Boz's, really? Surely he wouldnt misspell his name, or allow anyone else to...

I dont remember seeing it, either, and i surely did look at all of them quite intensively...

Mr irish blood, english heart, boz boorer! :D

i hope it IS real, i'd love to buy it ((we can all wish, cant we?))

  • Who owns it now and is selling it? How did they get it?

I remember Boz hanging out the dressing room window of The Glasgow concert hall during the Kill uncle or Your Arsenal(?) tour (What a crap memory). I shouted to him "Give us a plectrum!" and he threw a handful down to the group of us standing there. A friend of mine shouted "Give me your guitar!", to which Boz replied something along the lines of "I would but I can't. The record company wont give me anymore. I've smashed up and given away too many!".

I know if I did get my hands on one of his guitars, I wouldn't ever put it on e-bay.

  • I haven't sold too many items on Ebay, so I may not be the right person to do something like that, but couldn't they have posted a better picture of the guitar in action - without Moz in the forefront dangling his flower?

    ...and how?
  • Boz played lead guitar during the tour?

I thought Alain/Jesse provided most of the lead.

  • would that guitar be to buy new ?.

It's nice that Boz has played it....would have been even better if he'd actually owned it!.

I saw Boz sign a guitar belonging to a fan outside The Wiltern in LA last year. Well I wonder how much that would fetch on ebay ?...
