      I'm a bit miffed now :(

Yes, it's good that you have no-one to be ashamed of you. My older sister is going with me, and she said, 'you are NOT allowed to get hysterical when Morrissey performs'. I was really upset about this, so she has permitted me to let a single tear dribble down one cheek (QUIETLY).

Is it lack of news stories? Maybe the format of the site stops people contributing more? Most other fansites have forums where you can start up your own topics and discussions. That tends to make them a lot livelier.

Morrissey Music is the right sort of format and used to be more lively, but it has shot itself in the foot by constant system crashes thus driving users away.
