You Are The Quarry has done well to make it into the top 10 of 2004 albums in leading Dutch music magazine Oor's 2004 list. It is the first Morrissey album ever to do so well with the Dutch critics.

The top 10:
1. Franz Ferdinand – Franz Ferdinand
2. Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
3. Chutes Too Narrow – The Shins
4. Real Gone – Tom Waits
5. The College Dropout – Kanye West
6. Seven Swans – Sufjan Stevens / The Libertines – The Libertines
7. Bubblegum – Mark Lanegan Band
8. You Are The Quarry – Morrissey
9. Smile – Brian Wilson
10. Antics – Interpol / Scissor Sisters – Scissor Sisters

It's like the Killers getting the F played out of their video and the rest of the material is soooo mediocre. Flavor of the months Support bands are fine when they support. Know your place when it involves Moz. And where or where is "Keane" and Usher on the list? Tsk tsk tsk..some A&R departments must have been strapped at the end of the year...
