last Saturday the mighty Pony Club covered 'Please Please Let Me Get What I Want' as part of their encore at their gig in Whelans in Dublin. It was just Mark and the piano player and to our supprise 90% of the packed crowed knew the song word for word. Having supported Mozzer numerous times over the past couple of years the we are hoping that they will also be added to the bill with James Maker in December at The Point. God help us if we have to sit through another set by Sack again !

  • How could you diss SACK? They are pure class. They supported Moz when I saw him in Glasgow couple of years ago and they were fantastic. Their latest cd (Adventura Majestica) is the bestthing they've ever done. I hope Sack play Dublin but looks like they won't be supporting Moz this time. Damo Dempsey supported him in June, so why assume it will be SACK in Dec?

... which doesn't mean much, really, the song is has 8 verses + refrain. I would like to hear them singing Late night on Maudlin St. in reverse order of lyrics!!
