Abrahán writes:
I have called both venues... He is sick again. Houston is cancelled for sure. Friends of mine have already left their places in line at the venue due to signs being posted there. I spoke to someone at the Backyard earlier today and they said it was cancelled in Austin... I talked to someone else now and she stated that it was not cancelled. She did not seem very sure though.
Liz also writes: I've checked out ticketmaster and they are still selling tickets for Houston. Yet the venue is telling people the show is cancelled. Clear Channel hasn't made any statements yet.

I'm such a huuuuuuuuuuuuge Morrissey lover (Abrahan can vouch for that) that I'm crushed!! I work here at Clear Channel (the one's putting this concert on) and I had to call around to someone connected to find out what the issue was after I got my e-mail cancellation notification. I asked if the show was going to be rescheduled and he said "No".
So, I guess that means that Morrissey is somewhere in Houston right now, and I bet that he's in the Westin Galleria Hotel this very moment (I can see if from my office window). I just need to know what the alias name he is using to be booked there.

I have been a fan for quite some time and thought this was an amazing opportunity to see the MOZ. Any chance for makeup dates or anything of the like. Sure is discouraging to those of us that would consider flying to see him in another city.
