Ticketmaster is listing a Morrissey concert on September 29th at Dar Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.

The main listing says, "On sale now", but the next screen indicates that tickets are not yet available and gives no other info on when they will go on sale.

Link also currently shows the previously mentioned Philadelphia shows (Oct. 1, 2) going on sale Saturday, Aug. 28.

  • I hope the Phillie shows are not sold out before they go on sale, if you know what I mean. I'm glad it's not a rumour and he's coming around. Glad it's confirmed, looking forward to both shows!

  • Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere but can someone tell me a bit about these 2 venues. Canuck here, but it looks like I'll be crossing the border, as I'm not going to wait on Canadian dates - they may never arrive :)

    Thanks

  • for fuck's sake jed. since it's obvious to everyone that you read this site now, i'd like to ask you something. how about putting those "official" website to use and officially announce all these tour dates that keep popping up arbitrarily. it's ridiculous that fans have to read about all these unannounced gigs on david t's second-party website as opposed to one of your client's official sites.

it's really unprofessional when rumors of gigs are mentioned and nothing comes from them. all it would take is 10 minutes for your webmaster over at morrisseymusic to list current tour info.

i don't know who's putting this north american tour together, but traditionally, a tour manager organizes a complete tour with concerts and their venues already booked AND THEN he/she announces the tour to the public -- usually in the print or radio medium. your job is made easy by just being able to post these items of information on a website and then spamming the individuals who joined the site's mailer.

it this your first tour? how did you even get this job? i pray you're not another case of nepotism.

  • Hello! I just wanna know out of curiosity how old you guys are, i would like to know the average age of a Morrissay fan and well I'm 15 years old. I dont think thats the average age because everyone on this site seem really smart when I read the replys they go into great detail and every word is spelled correct and you guys have great opinions and are great at explaining. i most certainly dont think you are teenagers. We dont really know too many big
words, I do, but not most of us.

Sorry if this question seems rude.

  • Does anyone know if the DC venue has a pit? Philly probably will, but Philly has no presale...not sure which show to shoot for. Thanks.

  • hey, did anyone get their dc morrissey presale tickets yet? It's 1034am, they went on sale at 10, and it seems the only thing available is tier seating, which is basically the balcony. did anyone get orchestra?

  • Does anyone have a strategy or good advice as to how to obtain good seats for one of the Morrissey shows in Philly? When the Cure came around, good seats weren't released until the week of the show. PIT tickets were available like two days before the show! But that was in a larger venue, and I'm afraid to wait for fear that the shows may sell out completely. But it seems like good seats are NEVER available to the general public any more. Should I wait to buy my tickets? Any other ideas? Thank you to anyone who can help.

  • I dunno..... I can't stand seeing him play at seated venues. Sometimes they can be good, but it usually ruins the atmosphere because they will try to make you stay in your seat, people behind you yell for you to sit down, etc. part of the big appeal of seeing Moz live is the Ferver and pandamonium of the crowd being up close, with everyone so desperate to get to simply touch his hand, or be an inch nearer. Anyone that's ever seen Moz live while in the vortex of a GA show knows exactly what I mean. Seats=bad. Remember UCLA anyone....?

and well, ucla was memorable if nothing else. i was pushed from the floor area into a loading area on the side of the stage where equipment and half-dead fans were in abundance.
