Pete Doherty goes AWOL - NME.com

Excerpt:

"However, they sounded great compared to the next support act, who was a wasted-looking type in a straw hat. He launched into Morrissey's 'Your Gonna Need Someone On Your Side' and it immediately became apparent that he had neither stagecraft nor any musical talent whatsoever. In fact he wouldn't have cut it on the platform at Camden Town tube.

I can't believe this is actually posted as news! So Pete Doherty doesn't even show up for his own bloody gig, and some no-name busker sings a crap version of a Smiths song at the tiny pub where Pete was supposed to be playing.

Belligerent Ghoul, I know you're desperate to be a "legend on Morrissey-solo", but submitting this as news? Jeeze ... you can't honestly believe anyone would be even remotely intersted, surely?

hope Pete gets his credits for the songs he
