On BBC6 The Smiths' pivotal performance at the Apollo Theatre in Oxford in 1985 is now on (link). In the introduction Janice Long said Morrissey is, since the release of You Are The Quarry', 'the unofficial Poet Laureate'. She dedicates the hour long Smiths-performance to all the people who requested it and, oddly enough, to Mozzer's dad, who she says, 'is across everything his lad does'. Well worth checking out.

is anyone interested in downloading the smiths part of this radio show as a 55.1mb 192kbps mp3?

i guess i could cut it up into individual tracks, too.. maybe a bittorrent.

        feedback, please!
