Well fuck me then! Best news Ive heard all day, that means I can go see Moz when he does his OWN solo tour with just ONE opening band, instead of all those other wankers going on before him. Can't wait for the fall tour out here in the states. Goodun Moz.

You're not down with who I am but, look at you now you're all in my hands...tonight I'm a Rock N' Roll Star!!

I have worked with venues before and I know about how sinister they can all be (especially places that are owned by Clear Channel - who owns the Wiltern, I bet the Apollo also..they own everything sadly) Anyhow - when bands play 3-5 nights at once venue in the contract they (usually) have things that state that the performer can't play the same place or city within a certain amount of time from the last residency. A lot of cases it's a 3 month period - I doesn't make too much sense to the fans who want to see Moz as much as possible -- but as far as big business goes, they wanted us all to swap up Wiltern tickets (which we did) because we assumed it would be the only time to see Moz (not knowing he would be touring again in the general area 2 months later).

Anyway - I assume he wasn't allowed to play the two dates. Look at the fact's -- these kind of things go on with clubs / big business in the industry all the time -- and the two shows he had to cancel are LA (Ventura) and New York - the two places he spend 10 days collectively playing at. It all makes sense...but it still sucks. I wanted to see Moz & The Pixies.

I'm sure it makes sense, but it still fucking sucks. Especially when you were still paying off Coachella debts around the time he played like 5 shows in LA, and ultimately had to miss ALL 5 SHOWS in LA and thought of Lolapalooza as your fucking only chance to see him this year, and then ultimately find out it was all a lie. Yeah, it still sucks...
