I submitted a request at 1iota.com a long time ago when it was first posted on this site that Moz would be on Pepsi Smash, but I have not heard anything back from them about receiving tickets!!!

I just got home from work and checked my messages, and I indeed got a ticket. I was getting worried cause I requested it a month ago.... I was also worried about the "Under 25" thing, but it technically says you have to "Appear to look under 25...." I submitted a photo because I was told that you have a better chance of getting tickets if you do. So if you have not added a photo, you probably should. Even if it's not really you....

What a load of crap this thing is. I live in Britain so I wouldn't go anyway, but I can't believe that Morrissey is doing this show. It seems more like something that labels make upstart artists do, not someone like Moz.

Honestly, under 25's only? Maybe Morrissey's management thought this was a good was to introduce him to the youth market, but I can think of better ways that wouldn't also insult Morrissey's older fans.

I am very pleased to have received tickets for this event. But, I don't watch television and I don't know what Pepsi Smash is. Can someone please explain?

The tickets require participants to be available from 5:15 PM through 10 PM. Does Morrissey play an entire concert? Does he play just a few songs? Does anyone know what the taping is like?

While it is unambiguously pleasurable to see the range of ages at Morrissey concerts, I don't think it is a bad idea to hold an event which emphasizes his appeal to very young people. There are plenty of opportunities to see Morrissey amongst a diverse crowd, but to many, seeing a group of quite young people who are devout about his music will make a loud statement. It's too bad the event corporate and all in all I know nothing about it. But bringing Morrissey into the ultra-youth culture, just for a moment, sounds like a good idea.
