I imagine not many of you American Morrissey fans will know much about the Munich Air Disaster.

Well, I guess it refers to a plane full of Manchester United players which crashed killing or injuring everyone on board.

A tragedy which took some of the most promising footballers of their generation.

They say Bobby Charlton was never ever the same again.

I have forgiven Jesus - "Monday, humiliation / Tuesday, suffocation / Wednesday, condescension / Thursday is pathetic / By Friday, life has killed me”.

The title reminds me of Springhill Mine Disaster 1868, a song which I 've heard the late great Luke Kelly perform. I'm sure Moz was raised to some extent on the music of Kelly and The Dubliners.
It is strong subject matter for a song but hopefully Moz can pull it off.

Does anyone know what the b-sides to the American version of "Irish Blood, English Heart" will be?
Would it be possible for Morrissey to put all three b-sides on there? He is the head of Attack Records, right?

Count me as one of the disappointed ones to see a CD 1 and a CD 2 priced at 12 bucks each on Amazon.

We know Morrissey has an assload of songs recorded. Rather than thinking kindly enough of his fans, he apparently has decided to slowly release them on 2-Part single after 2-Part single, a la Suede, in order to manipulate the charts and squeeze extra pennies out of everyone. Is there something I don't know about which makes it impossible to place a third b-side on a single? Is there only one b-side on Part 2 because the "enhanced" content on it will be so wonderful we couldn't possibly ask for more? It does seem like the enhanced portion will just be a duplicate of the stuff on the American DVD, right?

It's exciting that we're gonna have so many new Morrissey songs coming out. I just hope I don't feel wallet-raped to get them all.
