Morrissey to play Carling Festivals - Reading (Aug. 28) / Leeds (Aug. 29)

This is wonderful news.

Here's how it is looking, Moz does a mini-tour of America, with dates in Vegas, OC, LA, NYC and other cities. But don't mention Texas, I'd hate the pain of the strain all over again. :)

Then, he spends the Summer playing festivals (and some gigs) in the USA, UK, Ireland, & Europe. Manchester may very well be the start of this leg, and he may criss-cross continents if the festival dates require him to do so.

Then, Moz returns as rumored and does a proper full blown tour of North America, including Mexico & Canada. This leg begins in late August, early Sept.

Then, it is off to what was once called the "South Pacific." Japan, Australia, New Zealand.

This takes Moz "to the end of the year" as he said on KROQ.

He returns to Hollywood very Happy. And life is grand.

The Libertines supported Moz at the Brixton Academy a couple of years ago (for the gigs he did after the Albert Hall) and were brilliant! So he should be pretty happy with them, and they were great at the Festival last year, too!
