- He will play at Glastonbury and the Carling Festival
- Guests for the Meltdown Festival will include Franz Ferdinand, the Libertines and Alan Bennett. The remaining New York Dolls will also reform for the first time since 1977 to play Meltdown.

Woo-hoo! I live in Reading, and the festival was simply awesome last year, and I didn't think it could get any better! How wrong I was!

      Anyone else feel that we're all living in some kind of Morrissey-fan dream?

      -he's about to release a truly brilliant album (if Moz, the band, and Simon Goddard are to be believed), full of imaginative arrangements, fantastic lyrics and great melodies
      -he's playing his biggest ever UK show, on his birthday and in his home town
      -he's made friends with the NME
      -he's curating his own festival in London
      -he's going to appear at the best festival (Glasto) on planet earth
      -every band in the UK is constantly banging on about him. even Southpaw Grammar was being praised by Keane last week!
      -he's recorded a duet with Nancy Sinatra
      -it is all simply too good to be true!

      I'm worried that we're gonna wake up and realise it's all been a ridiculously unrealistic dream! Moz will still be fighting the court-case. He'll still be at war with the NME. He'll still have no record deal!

      2 New York Dolls together again (Score:1)
      The New York Dolls may be down to just David Johannson and Sylvain Sylvain but I think it is great that they will play Meltdown. I know Morrissey must be ecstatic. It would be cool if Moz could sign Johannson to a record deal, I have always enjoyed his solo albums after the Dolls, except for the Buster Poindexter stuff.

      GLASTAMBRY = 25 -27 June 2004!!!!

      eg MORISEY is GOD

      ie becuase he can be in 2 plases at the SAME TIME!!!!!!!
