I asked in a radio station called cadena 100 to Mikel Erentxun if he will make a gig with Morrissey someday; Mikel said that is true and said more;he told he offered Morrissey work with him.
Finally, I have to apologize for my English and say that Mikel is a good singer but a awful lyricist.

In 2004 a new album by the singer from Donostiarra, Mikel Erentxun. It will be his sixth in his solo career and will be a compilation of his five previous albums, Naufragios, El abrazo del erizo, Acrobatas, Te dejas ver, and Ciudades de paso.
The CD will include two or three new recordings as well as several surprises, like a re-recorded version of Esta luz nunca se apagara (There's a light...) and A un minuto de ti (to make them sound more like the artist's current sound). In addition-- and, this is the biggest surprise-- these two songs will be with in collaboration with two musicians of international reknown, Morrissey (The Smiths) and Lloyd Cole. Cole has collaborated with Mikel before, singing in Te dejas ver, the song En silencio.
The album is likely to come out in February.

No es que Mikel Erentxun sea horrible, pero hay mejores cantantes/musicos españoles con los que MorrisSey podría colaborar, como Astrud, y no con ese (ligeramente) ñoño de Erentxun. Espero que le paguen (a Morrissey) el doble. Paso de (mal)traducir este mensaje

i think it is absolutely outrageous that an awesome lyricist like moz collaborates with one of the worst and shaggiest lyricists ever (yes, i said ever). if he were to sing with somebody in spain he will be better off doing it with migala, nacho vegas or manta ray. all of them are dead talented musicians. erentxun's only talent lies on his somewhat tasty musical influences, but other than that he is only a miserable moz wannabe with overwhelmingly bad teeth and fluffy meat. He also desperately needs a hairstyle change.

La verdad cuando leí los mensajes, no se porque se sorprenden de que Morrissey vaya a trabajar con Mikel.Y ademas si ese comentario es cierto...

Mikel tiene como influencia musical a Morrissey, mas no es una copia. Que quede claro que no me gustaron las versiones de las canciones que hizo de "There's a light", ni de "Everyday is like", que hizo tiempo atras Mikel.

Pienso que la traduccion fue un poco literal de estas canciones, y que bien las hubiera podido adaptado mas a nuestra forma de hablar... Una lastima la verdad, porque las dos canciones son muy buenas.

Ojala de resultar cierto este comentario, se produzcan buenas canciones, ya que mas gente se interesaria por Morrissey y asi llegaria a un publico que antes no lo conocia!.
