          Just thought I'd let you know that I went to the last Star and Garter Smiths night (in August? I can't remember. it was a couple of months ago) and it was crap.
          the place was ludicrously, dangerously overcrowded, the drinks were disgustingly extortionate, and we left after 45 minutes cos we were so pissed off.

              perhaps you went to a different place, the doubles were £2 and bottles less than £3, which is very reasonable for Manchester.

              Everyone seemed to be having fun around me, you should relax more perhaps, maybe you have issues and are up-tight about something in your life.
