On the first Tuesday of the month, Contra salutes the great bands & music from Manchester, UK by spinning an all-night, exclusively Mancunian soundtrack. Think Buzzcocks, Joy Division, The Smiths, James, New Order, The Fall, Chameleons, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, 808 State, etc. The focus will be on the scene's heyday of the 80's & early 90's, but contemporary bands will also be showcased. Suggestions and comments are always welcome.
