My Chemical Romance does "Jack The Ripper"

On Feb.6,2003 at Irving Plaza,NYC, I went to a The Used concert with Finch and one of the opening bands was "My chemical Romance".The lead singer said, "We're going to do a Morrissey cover-it's a rare B-side." They launched into a crazy , heavy version of "Jack The Ripper." The words were spilling out too fast and I was the only idiot screaming "Crash into my arms." I was the only one jumping up and down the whole time for the duration of the song. The lead singer pointed at me and my Morrissey shirt.     Hey babe. I love my story. It's way cool. The guitar parts on the cover are way cool because the parts in the original Jack the Ripper are quite and melodic. But the cover is way cool. Nice story!

      I had a similar experience but in my case the singer had to hum his way through "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out". Dude, how can you not know the chorus to that song? Anyway, it was still a very exciting moment to say the least. People just don't understand!

          It was a very cool experience for you but I am really sorry if the band played it the way it sounded in the mp3 link above... From Morrissey's original studio verson, to their live version, especially Beethoven Was Deaf, no one else can really master either...
