Here's a little snippet:

"The tight-lipped Mancunian has fallen out with Granada Television producer David Nolan as a result of his ingenious efforts to include "footage" of his favourite band's formative years in hs documentary chronicling The Smiths story, which goes on sale next week."

I've seen Morrissey far more animated that the tone conveyed throught that statement. In fact, the statement seems like rather prudent, politely-offered advice. Once again, a pinch of hyped controversy is the sales pitch of choice. bleh!

Morrissey seems a bit paranoid at the thought of Vic Reeves doing another "Consumer Monkey" with the animations. It was my understanding that the cartoons are there just to recreate key moments, such as Morrissey meeting Marr, the songwriting process etc.

A cartoon about The Smiths says nothing to me about MY favourite band. 3 ITV regions at 11 at night, I don't think Moz has ANYTHING to fear.
