  • Wooh! Great Show Moz! A eloge to the Danish, you have to be the most diciplined nation when it comes to standing in line. I have never pefore experienced such a easy entrance to a conserthal. Great atmosphere during the consert

  • He wasn´t really on from the beginning, or was it just me? Just the first few songs then it was magic.
Irish blood and jack the ripper and sister I´m a poet turned out best in my opinion.

  • Tonight show was good I think , starting from Sack , I think they're not that bad actually and surprisingly they speak danish! it was very nice the sign Martin gets at the end of their performance saying thank you for tonite in danish.

Morrissey came out again walking like a retard --what is it with that walking, anybody knows?- He was wearing a nice stripes shirt and the black cargo trousers , all of them looked quite handsome , Alain wearing some pin stripe trousers too, Dean-o looking good and Boz wearing a funny yellow shirt , he was not talking that much , neither to Julia , but he was funny, he said something about the sugarbabes and said "well I *am* a sugarbabe" !
Also commented a few times about how jetlagged they were and he saw a lot of fur out in the streets, and that he was happy to be back in town.
The performance was good, the sound was good, the atmosphere was very energetic!crazy I would say.. gee .. danish were really into it, besides a couple of idiots (not danish)pushing ad messing with people , they were thrown out , by what I heard the new security guard ;a bald guy , I was actually surprised that security was not that rough , I thought they were going to have 5 vikings struggling with people but no, there was not even one attempt to jump on stage.
I think so far that was it , can't remember more , still dizzy and overwhelmed , let's see tomorrow in Malmo , think swedish are gonna be roughhh..

  • A wonderful evening, great atmosphere at Vega, Moz in great shape, looking great. Sack was quite good as well. All in all, a great night that I wouldn't have missed for the world.

  • ... he complained about all the fur he saw out on the streets of Copenhagen. It´s true, I noticed it myself earlier on that day. Then Morrissey said with a funny dark voice: "fuuur, fuuuur, eeevil, eeevil".

After "The world is full of crashing bores" Morrissey said: "the world IS full of crashing bores, on the other hand, there are vegetarians", while me and a lot of others clapped our hands. You could however hear som boo-ing, surprisingly I must say. After that the band played "Meat is murder", and that was the best part of the whole show. My skin was like a dead naked turkey´s (if you will excuse my choise of words here, ha ha), constantly. The song was ended by a beautiful crash on the gong-gong. Very very good.

Morrissey seemed like he enjoyed the show and he answered people who shouted things and asked him brief questions. He touched peoples hands and you could quite easily come to the front of the stage, Vega seemed like a great venue in that way, and a very beautiful house too.

All the songs were quite slow though. I don´t know, but they felt slower than on the albums. It didn´t bother me too much, I had a good time exept for bruises from beeing kicked a few times by people taller than me (most, that is).

Finally.... After travelling for about 4 hours, standing in line, having a few beers, Listening to Sack, - He finally went on the stage !!!

A Great show, great performance, and nice people not pushing too much in the front !!!!!

"This next song is about Marabou Chocolate..." - "I Like You"... - Morrissey likes Marabou chocolate !!...

Anyway.. The best thing since oktober 1999 !!!!!!

    • Marabou is from Norway and therefore not danish. So its like saying something about Volkswagen in England...

Anyway... the show was alright - though I liked it better last time in Christiania. The mix of songs were a bit strange. Speedway was superb.
      Anonymous -- Thursday October 24 2002, @12:52AM (#46347)
      • Marabou is the swedish subsidiary of the norwegian chocolate maker Freia. When Freia wanted to establish itself in Sweden in 1916 the "Freia" brand was already used by another company. Marabou was chosen since Freia has a marabou in its logo.
Now everything is owned by Kraft anyways. And Kraft in its turn is owned by Philip Morris...

Marabou is quite common in Denmark so I really don't think that anyone would be annoyed by Morrissay saying he likes Marabou milk chocolate..!

  • I want my money back.

The concert was boring and no energy on stage. At one stage someone shouted for the band and Morrissey to speed up but they probably did not get their sleep in the plane from Australia. They seemed very tired and not at all enthusiastic.

A shame for us who looked forward for a great concert but then we have to go and see someone else for that

  • I just want to say thank you for the concert. I was not quite statified when it was over - the show was short and the band suxx. But Morrissey was cool, wish he had been there alone.
And I want to say thank you to the lightman for keeping the little paperheart I've made - and thanks for the setlist...
Hope morrissey will be back soon under bether circumstances..

  • OK, stop that William Burroughs cut-up technique program you're running and please give David Bowie back his stolen PowerBook. You know well how when he's left to his own devices he just writes shite like "Hope the weather's good and it's not too hot".

PS: Although, since Morrissey-solo's own Myles Na gCopaleen has at least stopped on about Cast, I'd personally be willing to let him have his point back. Furby may not be so forgiving, tho'.
