Hi, everyone!
I just read on Sandie Shaw's website that she's been recording a documentary on the Smiths this September.

The announcement's in her August newsletter.

Be sure to check the lovely little pic of her and Moz as well! Unfortunately I could find no further information about where or when it will be shown.

... that'll be for the Granada documentary, scheduled for Nov 8th, ITV. It's not just her, they've interviewed loads of usual suspects.

      Here are my 2 cents:
Sandie Shaw, a British pop singer with angelic voice, won Eurovision award at 1967 with a catchy song "Puppet on the String", as you already know.
(Jesus, I wasn't even born back then!)
But for me, her (Sandie) best song is "Ask Any Woman". It is so beautiful and dreamy and sad. Another ones are "Message Understood" (makes my eyes wet all the time, and no, I'm pretty mentally stable person -;) ) and "Ask the girls, ask the boys..." song (Britpop at it's cheesiest! Yet kinda cute and pleasant. Kinda like David Geffen-produced Cher at early seventies, but much better voice!) She was (and is) tall, skinny working-class-born British lassie, who worked at the factory, sung along Diana Ross LP, and was discovered, yeh, old-fashioned Cinderella story. She covered "Hand in Glove". She and Moz are old friends, yeh! They are drinking British tea together all the time & eating rice pudding & talking about men in their lives. Heh. ;-)

P.S. I wrote it first under nick anonymous year and a half ago...

        Hi, everyone!
I just read on Shaw Taylor's Crypt Kickers Five website that he's been recording a documentary on Cyril Smith's Natterjack toad-in-the-hole licking habit, this September.

The announcement's written on an irritating furby inside Fion Hague's cabbage leaf under-garments.

Be sure to chuck turnips at the lovely little Lord Fartleroy and Maurice Setters' Irish type-setters as well! Unfortunately I could find no further information about where or when Sue Lawley's cast-iron guppy will be thrown to the Lyons tea-caddy.
