                                  Hypothetical question for UK Morrissey fans - if you were going to travel to the UK for one of this new set of dates which one would you go for ? The things I'm thinking of are venue, likelihood of getting standing tickets, ambience, friendliness of the crowd etc. I've never actually travelled to see Morrissey before (I'm in Ireland - we've been spoiled rotten) but I've just seen him twice in Dublin and it was so perfect I just want to do it all over again ...

                                                                  £27.50 (+ £3 booking fee) to see M at Brixton Academy.....hhhhmmmmm....how come other acts charge on average 8 or 9 pounds less (Underworld - £19.50 - gig till 3 a.m - Papa Roach - £20.00 - Richard Ashcroft £19.50 - Wyclef, official whore of the music industry, is only charging £18.50 for God's sake........It's not my fault M doesn't have a record deal and has to boost his income by charging way over the odds (perhaps if he wasn't so greedy he'd have a deal by now if it didn't mean the record company had to bankrupt itself to sign him).

                                                                  Are the tickets too dear? What about the booking fees? Is the area too dirty to travel to? When will he come to Manchester, Bristol or my back garden?
                                                                  I went to three gigs three years ago and will do the same again this year. It might then be about three years till I see him again. Work it out. On average about thirty quid a year on tickets and not much more on travel/accomodation.

                                                                      What is the matter with you lot? All I see here is complaining. For me personally this Brixton gig is the only one that I'm able to see on this tour, so I gladly pay the price for it, and I'm not worrying about how much the tickets cost. And furthermore, as a stroke of luck for once, it came to me as total surprise bonus, as I'm gonna be in London anyway at that time. So, I'm really happy now. I'm not spoiled for choice in these matters, as some of you people might be, because I come from the northern Europe where it's really rare to see Moz live anyway. Well, this time there are gigs in Sweden also, but I'm totally unable to go there then.

                                                                          I have live all my life in a little town called Darwen just 2 miles from Blackburn and I have been desparate to see him play at Blackburn (too young in 91). It's at the doorstep of my former college.... but I moved to Alabama on a sholarship 2 soddin' months ago and I don't get to go back home until christmas - I hope that dvd gets released in the near future, as it's the nearest am gonna get to a Moz concert for a bit.

They are ridiculiusly expensive! Which makes me think that Mozza is just exploiting his fans and touring for the money! Or am i getting incredibly cynical in my old age? It was very clever of him to announce two dates in london first of all so everyone travels to them and then announce some more dates that he knows people will go to! He gets more money this way than announcing them all together!
