          Hi All,
I do not usually jump in and comment on these things but I do believe that this release date is real. I have been very active in trying to assist in creating a buzz and...well...just trying to help Moz get a good deal. With a certain someone who I can't names help I was attempting to see if Morrissey would bea good fit for Metropolis Records. I really think this label would have been the best match for him (they also have Front 242, Bauhaus and Peter Murphy for example) and they had been trying to make contact with someone in the Moz's camp before I approached them. Sanctuary seems to have a slightly stronger distributorship though. They are just big enough to slip into your local Best Buys and Wal-Marts. Well, Morrissey has had a significant amount of material ready to press for quite some time now. Granted I am not talking recent studio work but songs that have been ready to go for a few years. It wouldn't be Moz's way to finally release a new album and have it be full of 5 year old songs so this Sanctuary release should be a collection of those older songs. New to the world but not a new normal album. That will be coming next Spring and should be very worth the wait.

Going on past form Moz tours when Moz has a new album out, so with this in mind, personally I believe what I'm reading about an album and a single due for release in September.

As for Sanctuary, the juries out on that one, yes he's signed here, no he's not here, maybe they did sign him for ONE album, ONE single, then take it from there..
Stranger things have happened. I mean Rough Trade is a member of Sanctuary, so maybe the release should read Rough Trade, but the only ifo Amazon have is from Sanctuary. Coz' I still think that both Moz and rough Trade would work together (better the devil you know).

There is no way Mozzer could have a studio album out by September IF is it hasn't been recorded yet, but there might be just enough time to get a live album out by then if it was recorded early on in the tour. Maybe with a few new tracks to be released as singles? Just a thought.
