More on the July 31 private Salt Lake show (confirmed, tix on sale Thurs.)

 Can someone confirm this? An anonymous person writes:

More info should be passed on. First, this is not a rumor! It is confirmed and his name is up on the club's billboard.

Second, it IS NOT a corporate show. The word "private" is being used... but the tickets are up for grabs to anyone. They are just not really pushing this show due to the lack of tickets. The next night at the fairgrounds is the main one they are trying to sell.

The club show is just for the lucky people who happen to find out Moz is there... and can then get a ticket... mostly word of mouth.

The club is called the Zephyr. It is indeed very small and will be an amazing place to see Morrissey! Tickets for both shows go on sale Saturday, although tickets to the club show seem to be already exchanging hands. Since there are only 300 of them... the club is rumored only to have about 50 to sell. The remainder will indeed be on sale at BASTILE or on line. They are $48 for the club show. Cheers...

    Interesting enough to get the blood moving? Is it worth a trip to SLC? I have to say I am intrigued but am I ready to bring back those forlong days of extended roadtrips and tapping the credit cards to follow MOZ....? What do you all think?

      I just got off of the phone with the Zephyr Club. I listened to their "hotline" and the message confirmed that Morrissey would be playing there and that tickets would go on sale Thursday night.

      For more info, call (801) 355-2582. They also have a web page [zephyrclub.com], but the show is not listed there.

            If you have never been to SLC before I just have to fill you in about the Zephyr, it is a awesome place for concerts, I have seen and met Damon, of Badly Drawn Boy fame, the legendary Pink Dots, kristen Hersh, Dido, oh so many cool shows this will be one not to miss.

                    Can someone in the SLC area that is going to purchase tickets tomorrow (Thursday) night at the Zephyr club get just 1 extra ticket for me? I have a friend in Provo/Orem (BYU), but he is out of town for the weekend. If anyone can get just 1 ticket, I would greatly appreciate it. Please email me... moz2k@msn.com.                       HELP! I live in Idaho so I could definitely make it to this club show. I desperately want to get my hands on a ticket so if anyone buying tix at The Zephyr Thursday night could pick one up for me, I will give you my firstborn child (OK, probably not since I don't plan on having kids, but you get the idea)!!!!

                          Myself and two others put our names on the list for two tickets each last night, but they told us to come back today (Friday) to get the tickets. I went to Bastille and bought all our tickets this morning, though. So, if there are still people out there clamouring for tickets, I'll go back to the club tonight and pick up at least 4 of the guaranteed tickets. Let me know ASAP!

                          According to MorrisseyTour.com, most of the 300 tickets were sold to radio stations for promotion, the remaining (very, very few) tickets are being sold at the box office. Who knows if there are any tickets that aren't being held for people on the list.

                          Those of us with tickets should consider ourselves very lucky. Thanks again, blister92!

                            I just got my tickets for both over the phone with a credit card by calling Bastille (which is a clothing store - for some reason they were chosen as an exclusive outlet).

                              Bastile is a shoe store in the "Gateway" outdoor mall. I just bought tickets today (Thur. @ 1:00 pm)over the phone.

                                I just called Bastille and got my tickets over the phone with my credit card about 1.5 hours ago! They can send it to you via certified mail. The total for 1 ticket thru Bastille is 52.00. I'm sorry I forgot the telephone # for Bastille, but call directory assistance for SLC (801-555-1212) and they'll connect you with Bastille. HURRY! I'm sure they were only given so much.
