Has Morrissey ever played Alaska before, whether solo or with the Smiths?

The tour news that I have been waiting for! Hopefully there will be a Seattle or Vancouver date in there as well.

From Alaska to South America again... remember how the shows were hot around here.... all we're waiting to make everything again is you MORRISSEY.

As an escapee of Eugene, Oregon, I can tell you that the McDonald was a movie theater when I was last incarcerated there, but it has since been re-furbished into a performing arts center. It is one of the oldest buildings in the area, from the 1920's. An oasis of cool in a very dull city.

It's about three blocks from the Greyhound station, the local bus station is on the same block, and it's about eight to ten blocks to the University of Oregon campus.

I know I complain (off the comments section, of course!) about the lack of East Coast dates every time rumours/actual dates are discussed. however, I have got to say that Alaska might be hurting for some attention too! lucky Eskimos-- have fun! :)

Is it possible to end all comments that plead for Morriseey to come to their city, especially from folks in the L.A. area.

(E.G. "Morrissey please, please, please come to Torrance. You've never played here".)

I inquired at ticketmaster, then I checked with the Anaheim Arrowhead Pond and they do not have a Morrissey concert scheduled!!!

Please don't play with my emotions and post possible dates and times that aren't true!!!

It seems every day that the Moz is getting closer to Washington. Come on Morrissey you know that you want to come back to the place where it rains. All I have to do know is figure out how much money I've got and how many shows that will allow me to buy. And I simply must put aside some cash for the merchandise

HOly Shit!! I screamed when I saw he was going to Anchorage. Is it possible??? Wow, that's incredible. I live in Alaska, and once I had a dream he was playing somewhere in Alaska, a place called Seward, but I thought it would never come close to happening. I was already trying to figure out how to get to the lower 48 this year for a couple shows. I may do that still. well, I just hope enough people show up for the Alaska show. Good god. I'm going to tell everybody I know. THough I don't really know anybody else who knows who he is, except my brother and my boyfriend. Well, I'll get a crowd there nontheless. This is great. The greatest thing ever, if it is true.

PLEASE come back to the State Theatre in Detroit! We came in droves... haven't we earned it yet, baby?

Living in Anchorage my whole life I have never seen anyone remotly interesting play here (minus the Indigo Sluts). If he comes up I am gonna be on cloud 9! The sanest days are mad!!
