I saw Mike Mills today who almost everyone knows is in R.E.M and is also good friends with Morrissey. After I asked about the band I enquired if he knew what Moz is upt o he told me he has a single ready ("Can't Carry On") and has been approached by a couple of record labels Rough Trade and Columbia.

      Moz has obviously been busy, three new singles in as many days with at least four different record companies. It would seem that there is no rest for the wicked, or indeed the good lord Moz; birthday or not.

        ...but can it really be so hard for this man to find a label..jesus christ, holy allah, and fat arsed Buddah, what is the hold up..will someone please supply this dear soul with a label so that I can get on with my life..I am going as gray as Moz himself waiting for a blessed album

          Alain can't give us any info on a new single, no one else within Morrissey's camp can give us a straight answer as to a song title or possible label...and yet MIKE MILLS, when asked by some anonymous REM fan, is able to give us such a scoop??
