An anonymous person writes: Last night on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, he asked the audience if they knew who Morrissey was, to applause, and he wished him a happy birthday and then made a joke about Morrissey spending the day with his two friends Hopelessness and Misery.

el-moz also writes: Last night on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn who is on after David Letterman, Craig wished Morrissey a happy birthday. He said something along the lines of "today Morrissey the former singer of The Smiths turns 43, and I would like to say happy birthday to him." Craig than made a joke about how Morrissey would be spending his birthday "with his loved ones, alone by himself."
