KELLY'S I: KEEPING YOU UP TO SPEED ON THE NET
Matt Kelly

...SITE OF THE DAY:

http://members.home.net/veganmozfan/

THE first Diana conspiracy theory to link angst-ridden crooner Morrissey with the death of the Queen of Hearts. Apparently the fact he once sang about a car crash is enough to qualify him as a modern-day Nostradamus.

---
David T. (Different) also sends the link to NTK - "Anti-news, berating the obvious: "MORRISSEY fans at last convinced by DIANA DEATH PREDICTION..." According to David, "NTK is a UK based cult/compulsory reading news-sheet, in case you haven't seen it before."
---
The link was also a "Bonus link" on one of the biggest PC gaming sites, "Blue's News."

I warned you David Alice - now you did it and thank you for making a fool of all of us..... It's one thing to think up strange theories and struggle to make people believe. In your case it's about to go way over the top and I suspect you're using and abusing Morrissey to get your 15 minutes of fame. This makes me really angry.

So what's your next step to humiliate not only yourself but also Morrissey and everyone associated with him?? International television? I expect to see you on CNN news soon as "Curiosity of the day" kind of thing...

David, isn't it true that Morrissey accurately predicted the US presidential election disaster of 2000? He once wrote a song called "i want the one i can't have" which refered to Al Gore winning the popular vote but still not getting the presidency. His song "the more you ignore me, the closer i get" dealt with Bush wanting to supress vote recounts. the lyric 'you're wasting your time' reflects how the recounts were a waste of time. Plus, didn't morrissey have concerts in the state of Florida????

Morrissey fans discover evidence that all journalists are on crack

After years of speculating what drugs journalists are on, patrons of Morrissey-solo have discovered evidence that the drug of choice is crack.

This bold announcement comes on the revelation that of all the people to pass through the website within the last 4 years, posting their musings and artistic offerings, David Alice's conspiracy-a-thon website dedicated to connecting Morrissey's songs to Princess Diana's car crash in 1997 was the only one to get any attention from the press core.

"Did you read this garbage?" exclaims one morrissey-solo reader, "here is this man who openly admits to fainting at the sight of pictures of genitalia as proof that he doesn't want girls to notice him because of his work, and here he is printed in black and white!"

Bitterness and ire are raised, but the fans do not think it's David Alice's fault for perpetuating the myth that all Morrissey fans are demented. Many blame the press core.

Another reader went on to say, "we know Morrissey has had problems with the press in the past, and we wanted to say it was jealousy or they wanted to further their careers. Well, now we have our proof. They were all on drugs."

Some suspected heroin, but others disagreed.

"Do you think some mellowed out junkie would arse themselves enough to get up and grab their typewriters and perpetuate this bollocks?" one irate fan wrote.

Another fan agreed, "yes. this definitely looks like the work of crack alright."

David Tseng, the site owner, could not be reached for comment at this time, but is assumed to be hiding behind a tumbleweed somewhere in Death Valley until the smoke of this melee clears.

The Diana-Morrissey phenomenon is a good joke, as anyone who goes to the page can tell. So don't complain about it ruining Morrissey's fans' credibility or anything. Also, that one page doesn't claim to represent all Morrissey fans.

What's ridiculous about this whole thing are the strong reactions against David's harmless joke.
