I'm trying to make people realize how overly grand they think they are simply because they are website moderators.

And gosh I'm really sorry if you don't approve.

wow. you are a tireless fighter for the rights of the common man.

and i didn't say i disapproved.

If someone's already beat me to it, I'm sorry. Anyhow...

Not the entire show as played, but the show as per the radio broadcast, so at least what is here is of excellent quality.

I got it in FLAC from Smithstorrents, converted it to WAV with Winamp, converted WAV to mp3@320/VBR with iTunes, yadda yadda yadda, I'm gonna go have a Schlitz.

They still make Schlitz??

Blatz's site says it's available in your neck of the woods. I don't think I've ever had any. Not sure about Schlitz, either. My relatives drank only Grain Belt, which seems to be local to the Twin Cities. Awful, awful stuff. That was the only beer I tasted before college. It's also why I hated beer until college.

Nice...

You know, I've never checked out the Blatz website.
It's what my parents drank years ago.

Bike Tragedy, where in Indiana do you live?

Bike Tragedy

Or maybe I'm a super-duper witch doctor; went back in time to dusky Wisconsin porchsits of 1983, had a few with Frank as he droned on about the factory, we listened to Darkness On The Edge Of Town as it blared from the hi-fi but his wife called out to us from her reading chair, "not too loud, the kids are asleep ya know." She took the liberty of turning it down herself as Frank rolled his eyes at me; the years have worn him down. They got married way too young.

(actually I just got it from the corner store.)

A little shithole called Griffith. There's a darkness on the edge of town.

I rather like Miller High Life, and had no idea that it's the latest hipster beer. Is Schlitz for hipsters, too?

In the arse of the world, about 35 minutes from Chicago.

Christ, just be happy you're so close to somewhere that's not a shithole. Better than being 4.5 hours from Chicago, 5 hours from Minneapolis, and 5 hours from St. Louis.

I believe I drove through Griffith today. And you're exaggerating when you say it's 35 minutes from Chicago, but that's ok. Just be glad you're only 50 minutes from the Loop. :)

OK, first off poor form for not giving credit to the person who uploaded it to Smithtorrents (which was me, incidentally). I don't really care, but it's just common courtesy.

Second, if you took the time to actually read the torrent you'll note that this was not from a "radio broadcast". It is the audio from the webcast. There was no FM broadcast of the gig.

Thank you very much robert for uploading Smithstorrents.

I never download anything from Bike Tragedy's threads who suddenly arrived here last year started posting download links which I find rather weird.

No, you don't download anything from his threads. You just show up in them and act like someone on their period.
