The Weird Dream Thread

Come one, come all, and post whichever weird dreams you can remember that were curious, eccentric, nonsensical or just plain weird. :p

Now, last night I had a very strange dream involving a church and Westlife. I was sat to the right of the central passageway, and there were about 5 people sitting to my left on my pew and Westlife were sitting in the pew in front of me, and I Am a Ghost was somewhere in the congregation for whatever reason. :p Anyway, the 5 or so people sitting closer to the central passageway to me all had to do special salutes at the end of the sermon to the armed services, ambulances and other things, which they all knew. All the rest of the congregation then copied them - it was each person at a time, moving along the pew. I had to do the last salute, which was to the police, and I didn't know it. However, dark-haired-person-in-Westlife demonstrated it to me, which was very nice of him. It used both arms and was in a sort of N shape above my head. :p

Any more weird dreams? I have plenty more to write. :p

Haha I've had plenty of weird as dreams, most of the time I wake up thinking 'Man, what a weird dream!' and then I forget what was in the dream :p.

I do remember a dream where I was playing bass for Led Zeppelin at a gig, thinking I was super cool grooving to the music. Then I realised there was no sound coming out of my amps, and me and Jimmy Page turned to each other and both said "Shit! the bass isn't plugged into the amplifier!" :lbf:

It was weird because we all just kept staring at him trying to figure out why he looked familiar and why he was staring at us. Then suddenly in my dream, the three of us were wearing Moz shirts and Buzzetta was decked out in Parrot Head clothes, so at that point the mystery was over.

If only we had facebook, we would have more easily identified each other.

I have the most oddest dreams and it freaks me out.

When I was really little, I had this dream about this land with dragons (think like, Dragonland dragons.) and I became friends with this big red dragon. Okay, here's the weird part, his bed was made of nails, so when you'd go to sleep, you'd like...get pricked. a lot. but it's okay because he had a pet fly that'd heal you in the morning.
the end of the dream involved something about the dragon making me queen of the mall.
To this day, I am disturbed about that dream.

Then I had a dream about Willy Wonka's son, even though he has no son (and it wasn't Charlie.), and the only thing I can really remember from that is flying on a rope and smashing through a stained glass window. (I had this dream around the same age as the first one.)

Then I had one about The Stand by Stephen King. I was with Stu's group and for some reason Glen and some others come up with guns and everyone's like, "Shit, they have guns." and then...uhm, they went, "No we don't! They're lazer guns! For lazer tag!" And then we played lazer tag. And I vaguely remember something about cheese, not sure what.

Last night I dreamt I was stuck in the film The Birds and I couldn't get out.In my dream I knew I was in a film but it kept replaying over and over. The wierd thing is I seemed to remember every single line of the film,all the dialogue and yet I've only ever seen it once.

ok, my dream last night was very, very weird:

I was in Canada, I do not know where in it, me and my 2 closest friends were there to see a concert, I don't know who, but we were eating at this diner and this "little person" in a suit kept taking pictures of me up close, real close, you know, like "paparazzi style"
I kept trying to ignore him but eventually he got so close with his camera he was almost touching my nose :eek:
then he ran out of film and started to run off, the sight of him running set something off in me and I started chasing him :mad:
I dragged him down and back to the table, ordered him some Eggs Florentine, which he refused to eat, which I somehow knew would be true :crazy:
and then I threatened him with forcing him to eat it unless he told me who put him up to taking photos of me :straightface:

-then the dream ended, i do not its meaning, but its left me awake, still a little tired and grumpy maybe...

I had one last night that was set in Africa, and it had something to do with falling out of a boat with someone and having to fend for ourselves and so I ate some pineapple that I found. :p

There are two dreams that always always reoccur for me.

One is plane crashes. I always have dreams about plane crashes. I'm never on the plane, but I'm watching the plane crash usually from the ground or a window or something. It always gets really low to the ground then either flips over and crashes or just explodes in midair. It's pretty freaky honestly. And sometimes it doesnt actually look like a plane but a big blimp with windows.

The other dream I always have is about public restrooms. I know this is because I loathe public restrooms. In my dream I am always walking into a public restroom and its dark and dingy.. like something out of a scary movie. Sometimes there are no stalls on the doors. I always kick a stall door open before I go in to see whats there. Usually the toilet is freaking nasty with shit piled up in it. When I wake up from these dreams its usually because I have to use the bathroom. So in real life when I go to use a public restroom I do the same thing, kick the stall open and look before I go in. So gross. :sick:

ok, the 1st one has something to do with you liking to observe things in some kind of detail with an expert eye(at least with your "sleeping eye")
see, repetition of a similar image is often the key to this, or so ive been told :)
also, the second one is about feeling vulnerable, in your dreams you strike out rather than becoming a victim of this, which is a good 1st step i think :thumb:

I had one last night where I had all these strange exotic pets in a big house. Some were dogs, but some were monkeys and other animals. This woman broke in my house and tried to steal some of the pets so she could sell them to someone who would kill them, but I stopped her and I think I beat her up to do so. Then later on in the dream she tried to kill me and some other people in an Asda supermarket, only I was (or I looked like) young Morrissey. I tried to hide in various places, including under the checkout, and then I ran outside and killed her because she was trying to kill me.

Last night I dreamt that Morten Harket (singer of A-Ha) and I were hanging out in a deserted city. We were talking music and he was telling me about his passion and approach to singing, and how powerful the sung word could be - then to demonstrate he pointed to a flock of birds above and said "watch", then he stared singing and the birds started flying to and fro and cutting back and forth to the rythms of his singing. It was an odd dream, but then that tends to be the only kind I have. I woke up this morning and put some A-Ha on to listen to....

Then in the next scene the camera goes all white and it returns to this little church in Spain where it focuses on a crucfix and slowly Jesus' face becomes replaced by Johnny Rotten who is now screaming the words!

I had a few dreams last night, due to waking up a few times. I had one that was disturbing about my sister and a lad I didn't know, one about NeverPlayed arguing with someone that he was black in spirit but the person tried to beat him up, and for some reason I was pregnant in this dream, and one where Castro and Guevara were brothers and the whole dream was about Cuba.

I had a dream the other week about Poland. I went there with my Dad and sister (I think an old woman was with us, too) and we jumped in the sea from a castle/prison on a headland. The sea was more Mediterranean than Baltic, though, because it was bright blue and very sunny. We decided to swim across this huge bay to a city, it must have been miles away. Then I came up with the brilliant idea of swimming a couple of metres to the right, to the beach. :p We went up an escalator, and I realised I could speak Polish.

I had a two second dream that I was at a large round table (of like 10 people) at a luncheon and had my back to the table/people & was listening to someone speak at a podium (don't know who or about what) and then, in one fell motion, turned, took a pencil off the table and whipped it across the table at Heidi Montag just missing her face. Then turned back around. She got up and came over to me with that ugly, smirking face of hers and I said, "What, bitch. Sit down."

I almost never recall my dreams, usually for months at a time. However, my last one, a few weeks ago, starred none other than Moz himself, a first, to my knowledge. My apartment was transformed into this large, nicely furnished house, but all my stuff was still there, anyway, the dream bathroom has all these shiny brass pipes one of which springs a leak and floods the bathroom and fucks up the plumbing. I run downstairs to the living room where Morrissey, who apparently lives there, is sitting in a big chair reading the 'Times. I excitedly tell him about the plumbing issue and he looks up at me and shrugs, but in a sort of sympathetic way, as if to say "Que Sera, Sera.", then returns to his newspaper. I wonder what Freud would say?

The other night I had two dreams. The first one was set in Margate, in a roofed-over car-park (See diagram attached). It wasn't properly indoors, it was like it had a sort of glass roof, the sort of roof you get on conservatories; although the car park went into a properly indoors car park. For whatever reason, there were these massive bears walking around - they were about 3 metres tall. We - me and about 6 or 7 other people - were walking around the corner from the shopping mall to the car, and there was a bear walking behind us, so we walked a bit faster. It was getting closer, so we upped the pace again. It wasn't far behind us, so someone yelled, '6mph!' and we started running to the car. We got in, and then I woke up because the dream was scaring me.

The second dream featured my friend, my mother and my father. I went shopping with my mother in Marks and Spencer, and she got arrested for shoplifting. So I had to go to my father, who in this dream was a lawyer. At some stage I bought a Cramps t-shirt for my friend, because I knew it would cheer him up. My dad went bankrupt at some point. :confused:

Last night I had a weird dream. I remember I was walking down by a dirty river, lots of buildings in ruins, and it was a very long walk and then at the end there was a tiny house, I got in and Jon Bon Jovi was there, he told me to trust him so I came in. I opened the oven and found a dead baby, he was bloody and bruised up but didn't have any wounds. Jon took the baby out and said he wanted to kill me with it and he explained something about the baby but I can't remember....but he said he beats people to death with the baby. So I ran but I was running in slow motion and Jon Bon Jovi was after me waving the baby around...Fucking horrible.

I keep having dreams about my ex.

In one dream he was a roofer and had bleached blond hair. He was angry with me told me that I should have seen him when I had the time.

The other night I had one where we met up in Budapest and he was hostile to begin with but warmed back to me and held my hand. His own hand was tiny, about the same size as mine. However, this rather nice dream ended where I was stuck in a field of aggressive ponies with poisonous fur, so I was trapped.

I dreamt that I meant Morrissey . I was suprisingly composed but I lost that composure when I asked him for his signature. The setting was a peculiar tree top abode with puffy clouds. His physical appearance was that of the Viva Hate era and he was awfully polite and proper.

I had a dream last night that I was trying to make Simon Lebon ( Duran Duan)
listen to Morrissey. He insisted that he didn't like his music, but I made him listen to Moz music anyway. Then I woke up:squiffy:

What an awful dream! I had breast implants, and they felt weird and horrible. I kept on touching them and they felt like they weren't mine.

(I know why I had this dream: we saw a documentary last night about "adult actresses" in porn valley and all of them had these same huge boobs.)

The other day I dreamt that I was just sitting at the dining room table alone in my apartment at RU, drinking earl grey and creepin' out the window...like...just watching people.

My apartment is on the 4th floor and I apparently wanted a cigarette. So I opened the window (which is hard because the schools windows are suicide proof), climbed down a ladder and walked to the smokers gazebo and smoked a cigarette.

Then I woke up to my best friend Hilda banging on my door (WHO LET HER IN?) because she's a pain in my ass.

I once dreamt that she came to my house to steal my cat. I was angry at first, but then I remembered that my cat is a fucking bitch. So I gave it to her and she renamed the kitty R-Kellz.

I told her the cat was a girl. She said, "I know" and walked away.

Last night I dreamt that it was my birthday. My friends were throwing me a party and when I walked in Moz was singing Sheila Take a Bow.

That wasn't very weird, but when he came to hug me and say happy birthday, he turned into our family friend Clarissa and stole $105 from me.

This was about a week ago or so. I was back in school and in my classroom I saw a big red plastic laundry basket. In it, there was Paul Simon, with very long hair, kicking about and singing Cecilia. My reasoning was, since I had time-traveled obviously, and knew this man was going to be very successfull in "the future", I should invest in him and get rich. So I take him out of there with my thumb and index fingers (he was really small), and put him on a tree branch nearby. Then white flowers started to blossom :o

I had a nightmare about a week ago and didn't tell it because I was on a "I hate telling people things anymore" kick which usually only lasts a few days so I guess I'll mention it since this thread popped up. I think it might have to do with all the Dexter I've been watching, but maybe not. I woke up in a panic and alone, it's the worst feeling ever.

I was in a war-like situation, on a battleground. There was a man being slowly killed, he was suffering a lot and someone was slicing his neck, blood spurting everywhere. When he finally died it was my job to cut off his arms and legs. I then took a litter of puppies who nursed off the bloodied stumps of the man's torso as though they were nursing milk, but they were covered in blood. I prevented two puppies from doing this grotesque thing and encouraged them to run free, to run away. But they were puppies, they didn't know how to run away, they just looked at me. I put them in a dog bed, seperated from the bloody torso and the rest of the nursing puppies, then I didn't know what to do and woke up. Worst. Nightmare. Ever.

This is why I don't watch a lot of horror films, this shit always happens.

I dreamed I was in the cavern club, at Paul McCartneys funeral....
the Vicar laid Pauls dead body on a long wide table, and wrapped him head to toe in a shroud.then, we all pushed/rolled the body sideways to roll it up in more cloth, until it fell off the table, falling to the floor with an awful Thump.
Paul was reaching out and mumbling/moaning, but the vicar said " That is normal....dead bodies do that....that's why they have to be buried deep".

Hmmm....creepy. I remember a dream I had quite a while ago. I was at John Lennon's memorial...but it was actually more like a funeral, everyone outside in a graveyard, dressed in black..etc. Anyway I was there with Ringo (I think I arrived with him). I then spotted George Harrison and I called out to Ringo and said "George is still alive, he's here".

That's all I can remember of the dream and it's quite weird because it's the only dream I've ever had about The Beatles and it's quite odd that Paul wasn't in it when he is my favourite.

I dreamt I was a sixth-form student, in the same classes as my two teenage children and I was a teenager like them. I couldn't make out what was going on in the lessons, so I went round to Russell Brand's house to meet his cats, of which there were many. I was wearing so many jackets and cardigans I couldn't move my arms properly. A kitten jumped up onto my lap and then I woke up and found I'd overslept.

Last night I dreamt that I found a cardbox, opened it and there were at least 10-15 tiny kittens in it, each of them in another colour: Pink, yellow, neon green, dark red, electric blue, purple, orange...they were so cute, and I felt an extreme urge to take care of them, so I fed them, gave them to drink and cuddled them.
It was a nice dream but also very weird to me...it felt so clear and real and so surreal at the same time, and I really don't know what it might mean.

I either haven't had or can't remember any dreams in recent weeks. I have had many pregnancy dreams in the past for some reason, though. :lbf:

When I was little I had so many reoccurring dreams, mostly about witches and getting lost in weird indoor mazes.

There was another one I used to have a lot where I was just going about my daily business, but everything I touched or tried to pick up felt heavy, like a boulder or something. The last time I dreamt that was a few years ago, and the impression of the dream seemed to last after I woke up, so my pillow and duvet felt like rock pressing down on me. It was actually rather scary.

But yeah it's true, I tend to sometimes mother people, which can be a bit annoying, it seems. But the kittens liked it. :)

Bump. I had a good few weird dreams last night that I'm still in the process of trying to recall. In one I think I ended up being romantically involved with someone I know behind a tennis court. He was drunk and I think I was pretending that he didn't know me because I don't think he likes me in real life. :p

In another dream, there were about 4 or 5 children running into my dad's car and messing around inside it, so I removed them and told them off. I had my hair in a beehive because I was going to a fancy dress party after I sorted the kids out. :p

I had a really messed up dream about this guy that I'm kiinnddaa friends with, but he really annoys me and lately I've been trying to get him to stop talking to me.
He started spewing blood everywhere and passed out and I FREAKED out and started crying and telling my teacher to call 911. So I'm just sitting there, checking his pulse, with blood just kinda pooling around. It freaked me out...

I swear to god, my subconcious is fucked. My dad was saying how he was having weird dreams lately and I just looked at him and rattled off the dream I had that night about him getting a tattoo of his beard on his beard and he just looked at me and said he couldn't beat that.

I had a messed up dream Friday night that I can't get out of my head.

I had a weird one this morning. There was a fighter jet flying overhead and I was in a country-like farm setting. There was a corral with cows in it and the jet electrocuted and killed all the cows with a lightening bolt. Before this there was a party and dancing. One of the baby cows, or steer I guess, was tiny like a baby but had fully grown steer horns and survived the electrocution somehow. I was with the villagers and we were all afraid the plane was coming back to zap us and kill us too.
