This year also marks the 150th anniversary of the publishing of On The Origin Of The Species.

And yet, 150 years on fewer than 40% of Americans believe in evolution (according to a recent poll)! Jesus Freaking Christ! 60% of Americans don't believe in a sound - and proven - scientific principle! How many still don't believe in gravity, a heliocentric solar system or a spherical earth?

My apologies to the 40% of Americans who have to put up with the profound stupidity of the other 60%.

Sorry, just had to vent that and this seemed like the right place. I'll shut up again for another long while.
