At my Junior High, it was a girl everyone called Little Miss Pneumonia. She was always sick, and sneezing and coughing all the time. Everyone was afraid to be near her. And she was always saying that she "hit rock bottom!" every time she got an B+ on a test or she dropped her pencil, or anything else trivial like that.

It was a kid that later died of a drug overdose.

to answer your question. i graduated with 4 other people, so there really wasnt such a thing as least popular. although there was this kid that was a grade younger and he was pretty "nerdy" if thats what you mean. he was really tiny and awkward and he'd eat cup o' noodle everyday at lunch, but hed eat it by scooping up a huge amount into his mouth and it would hang from his mouth into the cup and hed chew it until it was all gone. then on to the next scoop of noodles. the whole time with his head down. it was very odd. and gross.

The least popular girl at my school was a Jehovah's Witness too. I always
felt bad she never got to celebrate her birthday. Or much else.

Ours was also a girl who feigned various illnesses constantly. The most memorable one was the day she showed up wearing a leg cast, claiming that she got injured while running (which was laughable, as the girl was pear-shaped and weighed a couple hundred pounds). It just happened to be the day of a marching band performance. Later, she claimed that she couldn't play trumpet in band practice because of her broken leg.

There were a few others. One was a guy who appeared not to have gone through puberty til about senior year of school. He wore his pants hiked up over his stomach, he had a Spock haircut, and his eyes were small and pitch black. He was tall, but extremely skinny, and he was best friends with an enormously fat girl. The thing is, he was so nice and intelligent that people eventually stopped making fun of him.

Well, me. I was pretty unpopular. Basically nobody was really interested in me- I mean I couldn't start conversations, couldn't join in. I almost never went out, never went to prom. They were mostly indifferent to me, although there were several people who were mean and teased me constantly. They were really cruel at times.

But I wasn't at the very bottom. There was a girl I'll call "Susan." She was the daughter of the school janitor. She was a massive geek, into anime and role-playing games and every geeky thing. She was constantly studying Japanese so she could read manga in the originals, and she had poor hygiene. Except, she had a group of similar friends from other schools. She also had a habit of talking about sex, as a way of shocking people. I think she really didn't care about what people thought about her, she had given it up, but it's still awful when people won't just let you be. She was picked on too. But now she's a fairly successful screenwriter for independent films, and her first novel (scifi/fantasy, of course) is coming out this spring with a major publisher. She's married and has two kids, and lives near her parents, and seems pretty happy.

THere was also a girl named "Anna" who was creepy and annoying. She had a weird barky voice, very strident. I've since realized that she was just an adult, already, at 16. She'd have been fine in a crowd of thirty-five year olds, but was hopeless among her peers.

One kids that comes to mind, Frank, had long red hair and was certainly the "smelly kid". I had known him since grade school so I was always nice to him. But other's weren't as kind. He eventually got into metal so he and I bonded a bit senior year. We were both voted "Most Unique" for the year book and to be funny we did our hair in pig tails and both wore our matching Korn jackets for the photo.

Weeks later he was hit by a car while crossing the street and the front page of the newpaper showed him halfway thru the windsheild of the car  He was in a major cast and wheelchair for the rest of the year and gained a few friends by having a key to the elevator.

I was pretty unpopular most of high school, except for my senior year. Everyone wanted to talk to me my senior year. I didn't care too much because I hated everyone in my high school anyway. I would go home and cry because I hated them so much. I hated being surrounded by imaginationless, constant monotony and by such boring, close minded people.

There was another boy who was mentally retarded who was very unpopular. He had a very bad habit of eating his boogers and dandruff. He also did not bathe. He got hit by a car one day while he was riding his bicycle after school. He lived. His uncle was not so fortunate; he too was hit by a car while riding his bicycle, but he was cut in half and his torso ended up in the car with the driver.

Because we were so used to looking down at our feet all the time to avoid conflict? I never got hit by a car, though.

Was your unpopular kid in any way mentally handicapped? This kid was, so in all honesty it's not suprising that he was hit. He wasn't very careful.

His whole family was strange. He also had a sister, and his mother would tell anyone that would listen that her husband (their father) would have sex with her daughter any chance he got. This was after he was put in prison. His sister later went on to get married to someone in prison. His mother was disgusting--she once went into the local Subway's bathroom, took a shit, and decorated the bathroom with it.

Nobody really made fun of the guy, because he couldn't help it.

I have tons of stories about her! she is a junior, and I think it was a pretty regular poop. I wasn't in the room at the time, but she just sat in it for a while until everyone started noticing.

she also does stretches in the hallway between classes. her locker was beside mine four or five years ago and I never really said anything to her but she still yells whenever she sees me, haha.

there was a kid when i was in 5th grade and he had some kind of stomach problem and he was constantly clogging up the toilet and he would get made fun of for it. i wasnt a part of that though cuz back then i was a nerd, myself. he eventually had to get some kind of surgery i believe. poor kid.

the worst part about LJS girl was that she had a sister a year older that was a little more normal and none of us could understand why she wouldnt tell her sister what was up. i mean, it was inconceivable that she didnt notice! one time we were sitting in class and this one girl walks in and literally goes "why does it smell like fish in here?!!" all annoyed. hahaha. oh so funny.... :lbf:

Oh and speaking of people taking a poo on themselves, I remember once when I was in HS there was this girl who once proudly proclaimed that she wet her pants when she was in seventh grade because the teacher wouldn't let her go potty. She looked so proud of herself when she said it. She ended up getting married after high school to some thirty-something year old man.

I was teased a lot at school and in the first year at college but mostly at school. I had greasy hair and acne and was a few pounds overweight.

Why does everyone say school days are the best days of your life, they certainly aren't the best days of my life.

I hated the work
I hated the students
I hated the teachers
I hated the buildings
I hated the food
I hated the rules
I hated my uniform
I hated not being smart
I hated being in the bottom groups of almost every subject
I hated the exams
I hated coursework
I hated my books
I hated my folder
I hated my stationery

I was probably the least popular kid in my elementary school. My mother - who spent each day until i was in 7th grade parting my hair in hilariously inept fashion - was the PTO president, and was always hanging around the school telling the other kids not to make fun of me. I don't recall having many friends, and the few that i did have basically had me around to make fun of me. Also i had poor posture, which resulted in my constantly walking as if i had a wine cork plugged into my anus. This problem has since been corrected.

We moved when i got to high school, I developed my own sense of retro style, my hair got much longer to the bizarre, jewfro state that it is now, and since then i found i have quite a bit of crossover appeal. I mean, my closest friends are still the theater kids and the film kids, but i have some friends that are varsity athletes and frat boys too. And hopefully my new tv show will expand my appeal somewhat. ;)

Of course i'm still a huge music/film/sports nerd at heart and always will be. I mean, i hang out here, right? ;)

Yes, the buildings were old, dirty and smelt of bleach....really strong bleach. My folder was shit because it was cheap and the rain messed it up and my stationery was also cheap crap that my mum got me from Woolworths (the cheap place) other people used to get theirs from WHSmiths (which were better) and you could always tell where people got their stationery from because they were marked on the individual stationery.

There was one called Stephen Maher. His full name was Stephen Patrick Maher, I asked if the Stephen Patrick was for a reason and he used his catchphrase on me: "none of your bees wax"... an expression I never quite understood. He was an awful person really, but he was always with me and someone else, even though he was a terrible prick, we felt sorry for him. I think the reason he was so terrible was he had some mental disability, but he was in a school with people who didn't and perhaps he didn't... I don't know. He wasn't stupid, just not very clever in other ways. He was always the same right through from 1st class (about 7 years old, maybe, 6) through 6th. Very childish, very aggressive in ways too. Some reasons why people hated him was, he was very rude, he was childish, he was... odd and they didn't understand him. You know how babies hit and bite and stuff like that as they don't know any better for fun? I think he was the same. Although, he did it to hurt people other times. He was messing with someone, they tried to get to know him rather than leaving him out as they had for years, and he bit their leg playing, the other person, in pain, hit him off not terribly hard, he started crying (another reason people made fun of him, he cried like a cartoon, the way he sounded and rubbed his eyes) and asked what it was for and when he was told he said "I'll do it again" and lived up to his promise. He'd cry over the silliest of things too. A "Yu-gi-oh card" that had gone missing, for example. Or another time, he hit someone on the head with his Colour Nintendo system, the ones with the flip-up screens, and it broke, the protective screen shattered although the main screen was fine and started crying and blaming the other boy and lashing out at everyone. He just started playing it again and went on as if nothing happened then. He would say silly things like "Not to my knowledge" when really he should have known. For example, "Did you throw a stone at him?" and he'd reply "Not to my knowledge." Another reason everyone hated him was he would kiss this one person all the time, and in an all boys school, the boys don't take kindly to it mostly. I was stuck with him for 6 years though, with the scratches, the kicks, strangling etc. It wasn't too bad, though he wasn't the most pleasant person to be around. He loved chocolate, he would literally eat a curly-wurly in one bite, making it into a cube!:lbf: There's more that I can't remember!:p

I think his only friend was the I.T. teacher but sometimes he'd talk to my friend only if when she was walking her dog.
He had the mannerisms of a sixty year old, the kind that wear a lot of beige and are found in garden centres. :)

Jayziz!

Indeed...

He's gone now, so the person probably least popular, though you wouldn't know it just looking at the class, now is a boy called Glen. People pretend to like him as he is what is probably considered hep, though anyone out of my class or the lower class in the same year that I've talked to about him said they hate him... well, not everyone, but most. Mainly as he's a self-obsessed prick, who does think he's better than everyone, yet at the same time, very insecure. He wouldn't let me give him luv on Bebo incase people got the wrong idea!:lbf:
He has his patches of being okay, but they're not many. He is now ignoring me because I started talking to his girlfriend, I hadn't spoken to him for a month or two and when we got back he was ignoring me, though someone had to tell me, although we did talk a lot before it despite hating eachother basically. He is also pretentious, tries to be mature and is very attention seeking, which is why I hate people who say they hate attention seekers, they're usually that type! He projects his problems on everyone else too! When someone asked him why he was ignoring me, although he told his friend (even his friends don't REALLY like him:p) why, which was because I talk to his girlfriend, he answered it was because I dictate too much and try to bring everyone else down everytime I open my mouth! That's his job!

Another one who could be the least popular these days is a person called Andrew. Everyone seems to bully him, except myself of course, as he tries to be like the rest of his clique but fails as he is nothing like them really. He seems to dig himself in terrible holes too, he tries to bully, but no one takes him seriously, he says ridiculous things to seem "big". Sometimes he says these words that most people don't understand and sometimes even he doesn't. He turns to someone and says "Chris, you're very ostentatious..." and Chris asks if he knew what that meant and he said No and asked me, which I found very funny as it's slightly ironic, I tried not to laugh, he gets too much hassle already. Almost everyday his bag is stolen and turned inside out, with his books on the inside that was the outside. Apparently he does modelling, though the only shots we've seen have been the shots that got him accepted. I don't know if he's done any proper shots yet. He's not too bad, it's just he sometimes looks a bit pathetic when he tries to be like them.

In primary school, there were a group of unpopular kids. I was probably included in there, judging by some of my contempories not even remembering who I was. The ones few people liked in my class were called Katherine, Cameron, Edward and Marko. I had nothing against any of them, really - in fact I was best friends with Katherine for a long time. But I was one of the only people who was nice to her.

Recent memories of me:
'remember she used to cry over anything', 'waas she the barre smart one with black hairr ???', 'ber neeky init'
And still no-one can spell my name. :p

There was this nerdy kid in my elementary school, not that I was super cool myself. This kid would eat anything, he even ate the lunch tray it was cardboard. Strange boy.

Best days of our lives, apparently...
