The code doesn't differentiate between a permanent ban and a time-out when it displays the status. The image gets blocked but will return when the time-out expires.

They can see it, but only if they clear their browser cookies & look at it as a guest user. But I found out during my latest ban that you can still send banned users an email from their profile page, if they allow it. That was a pleasant surprise.

The second grade level name calling and antagonizing, it really makes it hard for newbies to come back. I already see the repeat offenders (I agree with the names Pip mentions. Seriously, how old is this Dave guy?) and they are not being dealt with by the site administrator. I could only imagine this forum is an embarrassment, in some ways, to its owner. So fix it!!
