Just flicking through Passions and found this:

"A two-track cd (Sire/Reprise, PRO-CD-7789) of "The Boy Racer" was also sent to radio for promotion of this album. The cd features the album version and a unique edit. "

Does anyone have this song and could share? How is it "unique"? Or is it the "Boy Racer Instrumental" that is available in the Downloads Directory http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showthread.php?t=84312 ?

It just has some of the instrumental jam outro edited out, and interestingly, it's not a fade-out version at all. I can upload a lossless version in a few days when I'm back at my computer.

Yep..

i completley forgot i had that until i read that request. i kept going back and forth to the post as i also have this promo(below) and i knew i'd come across summat different:eek:

Yes

The US Promo has a track called "The Boy Racer (fade)" which is 4.10 as oppossed to the normal 4.46

yes, that's the one i've got. i'ts just a shorter version. i actually forgot i had that. i kept going over your post and knew i'd seen it somewhere. my mind was just blank:o
