minor Morrissey mention in story about Mirror's new album

The Seeker of Good Songs

Well-Known Member
Mirror is the quartet Frances Lawson, Thomas Anselmi, Ronan Boyle and Laure-Elaine assisted by producer Vincent Jones. While Thomas is the ex-vocalist of the Canadian punk rock band Slow, Vincent Jones was a member of The Grapes of Wrath and Ginger, and a frequent collaborator with Lava Hay, a band which included Jones' former wife, Michele Gould. Following Ginger's breakup, Jones became a session musician and producer, appearing on live albums by Sarah McLachlan and Depeche Mode's David Gahan, and studio albums by Mystery Machine, Cowboy Junkies, Monster Magnet, Rose Chronicles and Bruce McCulloch. Recently he also worked with Morrissey.

Vincent Jones isn't a name I am familiar with. When did he play live with Morrissey?
I went to Jones' web site and under the heading On Stage it notes Morrissey (Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals)

Isn't he the one who stood in for Mikey when he took a break. Around Jan/Feb last year I think.

Vincent Jones took over keys for the three Pasadena gigs at the start of 2007.
