I got one earlier - looked like a screen shot for something called "Porn Tube" no idea if it is a real site or not - hopefully not a load of uploaded homemade porn films.

I've deleted it, so I forget the sender, but it did say they were banned so I suppose they have been dealt with.

I'm always visible, but didn't get it that explains they systematically spammed.

Excuse me, but I wasn't complaining. I was saying that your statement was not correct. I don't care that I got the PM, so luck doesn't have anything to do with it. The fact that my user name is earlier in alphabetical order doesn't mean anything in regards to the statement that users in invisible mode would not get the PM. I was simply trying to correct the statement you made in case it matters in any way to the site.

However, I'd imagine that what really happened is that some users were chosen to receive these PM's. Tough luck that you are wrong-o, bongo! :p

The user that posted these PM's is not someone that never appeared on the site before. What the site might do, in case you consider this enough of a problem to warn about it, is to allow people to block images in private messages. Otherwise you might just ignore trolls.

well basically you have a choice to be "seen" or not when you are on the site. If you go to your user cp (control panel) then you have options in there to change things on your user page so on, have a look :)
