Nice work. I'll get round to sharing mine one day. They're all written down, not computerified.

yes, i tried last night but not sure if they've gone through, on ultimate that is. it would be nice having a page in this forum where we could post our tabs. i'm sure there's demand for it.

It has been mooted, and I was going to do one, but work constraints mean time is tight. What I'd also like to see is a section where fans can post clips of themslves playing Smiths & Moz songs. By the way, listening again, I think the Gm in the first line might be a plain C - but that's just me.

Cheers,

Thank you!

Now, if I only knew the chords to "Nobody Loves Us"...;)

I know most of them!
The intro/chorus sequence is;
A, E, G, D. F, A, E ending on a brilliantly pleasing E7!

The verse chords are something like Bm, F, G, D.
Can't quite fathom the bridge! (but similar to verse)

What an amazing song! Alain Gordon Whyte's finest musical moment...

You know, this thread could grow into the forum we all want - who knows?

Here's one I did today, for my friend Steve who'll be playing guitar with me...

Let Me Kiss You

<Verse/Chorus 1>

Am Em Dm
There's a place in the sun for anyone

Am Em Am
Who has the will to chase one and I think I've found mine

F G Am G
Yes I do believe I have found mine, so....

C E7 Am G F
Close your eyes, and think of someone you physically admire

Dm C G
And let me kiss you, oh ho ho

Dm C E7
Let me kiss you, oh ho ho

<Picked Section>

Am Em F G

Em Am F G G#

<Break/Intro to 2nd verse>

Am Em D-Dsus4-D-Dsus2-D C

<Verse/Chorus 2>

Am Em Dm
I've zig-zagged all over America and I cannot find

Am Em Am
A safety haven, say... would you let me cry...

F G Am G
On your shoulder, I've heard that you'll try anything twice

C E7 Am G F
Close your eyes, and think of someone you physically admire

Dm C G
And let me kiss you, oh ho ho

Dm C E7
Let me kiss you, oh ho ho

<Picked section/Outro>

Am Em F G

Em Am F G G#

<repeat to fade>

BY THE WAY - I had it all spaced out perfectly so that the chords matched the lyrics, but vBulletin saw to that. Tchoh.

I appreciate all the people who are helping out with the chords especially with my limited playing ability. But I can not play and do not know what barre chords are so some of these are a bit confusing. Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot for not knowing what they are but I did say I had a limtied playing ability! Could someone help me out here?

No problem - Barred chords use every string of your guitar. The A chord you might be familiar with would be on the 2nd fret: 02220x right? well the barred version will be on tthe 5th fret 556775 (EBGDAE). You can get chord picture on the web to help learn these. Once you know it it's the same for every chord. just move to th 7th fret using the smae shape and you'll get the B barred chord.

If you notice the E chord you play is a barred chord excpet that you are only forming have of it.

hope this helps
