No disrespect to Damien Dempsey (who I think is great), but the name 'Damo' always reminds me of going to a party in some seedy student digs in Preston on New Year's Eve 1991.

It was every man/woman for him/herself when it came to finding a bed to crash out in the early hours of the morning.

Unfortunately, I chose the bed that had the words 'Damo's wank pit' scrawled on the wall above the headboard in black marker pen.
