does anyone have the best live recording of this song

not the one from introducing morrissey or the new b-side

but

a really passionate version

peter , ive seen a few clips from this show . do you know where it was or what it was

from what i guess its a convention or something , think alain has a great voice

Hi Oj,

the best versions I've heard are as follows:

New style version: Hammerstein Ballroom, New York, USA 22-10-07
Old style version: On the "Welcome To The West End" bootleg

You can have both. I can upload if you are tempted to try them? ;-)

Hi Oj,

Here are the files for you. The West End one is not the greatest quality but it has feeling :-). The New York one is nice quality though. That accordian is just a superb touch!.

Oh, and I forgot to say - try the live version from the b-side of the Boy Racer CD single. That's a good one too :-)
