I checked the UK itunes and 7digital, but the 7 inch b-sides are not available in digital format. I've ordered the 7 inches, but i don't have a record player. Does anyone know if and when they will be available to download officially? If not, I hate to sound like a beggar, but did anyone digitize them? Also, when will the single be available for the U.S.?

Morrissey's management have missed a trick with this one. They should have made them available for legal download. Most acts releasing vinyl singles do so these days.

Thank you! I only hope they release it on u.s. itunes or elsewhere. The last thing I want to sound like is ungrateful, but I'd like a version without the beginning cut. Still, it was awesome of the poster to post this. Again, thank you!

Hello friends:

I know that this is no the usual way, but is there any chance to obtain in mp3 the b-sides of the 7" vinil singles of THPGU?, that's because I don't have record player, and I would like to have this b-sides.

I would appreciate your information.

There are 2 Official Downloads of That's How People Grow Up available too. Only Downloads though, no CD/vinyl release.

- That's How People Grow Up (live Hollywood Bowl 2007.06.08)

- That's How People Grow Up (live London Roundhouse 2008.01.21 or 22 or 23)

That's How People Grow Up (live at the Hollywood Bowl) is NOT from the bonus CD from the Greatest Hits. Nor is the Roundhouse version on the bonus CD, so if anyone got the THPGU from the Hollywood Bowl from iTunes UK, please post it. I tried to get it and every time I tried to register to buy it, it kept sending me to the iTunes US and said it was not available. So please, post it! I can't wait until my CD and 7 inches arrive.

so you really have to buy it, or ask elsewhere

I think it's a fair request really. It's not as if these tracks can be purchased commercially for download, so how are people meant to have digital versions if they have no way of converting vinyl to MP3? If they were made available through iTunes (like previous vinyl single B-sides have been) then I'd say go buy them, but as that's not an option what else can people do besides come here in the hope that someone's ripped and uploaded them? I'd upload them myself, only I'm in the same situation.

Has "Playboys" been posted anywhere? I got the vinyl but no player, makes me wonder why I bought them, but anyway. The others have been transferred and posted but I don't see this one anywhere.

Edit:

I've been mistaken in asking for a transfer of TLOTFIP. I was under the impression it was a vinyl only track. Now I realize that was incorrect and it's actually on the UK CD single, which was bought and is now being mailed to me by a very kind friend. Had I bothered to really look at my vinyl singles up close I would have known, but like most vinyl I buy I simply stick it on the shelf and forget it's there expecting it to die unplayed.

Morrissey's management have missed a trick with this one. They should have made them available for legal download. Most acts releasing vinyl singles do so these days.

They should also release this stuff in the US, as we're fans too. One of my frustrations w/him and his label(s) has always been: It takes the folks in the US a bit longer(sometimes months) for the new stuff to circulate here. That's not fair IMO to the american Morrissey fan.

International Playboy from Hollywood Bowl sounds so so much better than the one from Hammerstein. The audio mixing is terrible on the Hammerstein. It sounds like the same people who mixed Earl's Court, mixed the Hammerstein show.

too bad.

This question has probably been posted a zillion times here but I didn't find it.

I have both 7"s but I am not having any luck on transferring them to the computer.

I have a USB turntable but the I'm terrible with sound editing and I don't think the quality came out like it's supposed to be.

I found the single on the English iTunes, but no B-sides there either...

Does anybody know if the B-sides are available on any other online store?

Girl Happy, thank you for the vinyl ripping for the two new songs. Hopefully my vinyl (yes, I do support the cause and have pre-ordered) arrives via snail mail this week. Mr. Reynolds, that was awesome! Thank you for another brilliant gift.

Unfortunately I was only sleeping or something when the "That's How People Grow Up" vinyl ripping and sharing party was underway. My ipod is so incomplete without those two additions.

If anyone has a vinyl ripped "Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself (live Utah 15/10/2007)" and "The Boy With A Thorn In His Side (Nebraska 11/5/2007)" version, please share.
