I think China's trying to kill us. Or at least those of us with lower middle incomes!

Apparently Walmarts been trying to keep it on the DL and its happened to a good number of people. They've tried to pawn it off as an 'allergic reaction' but it doesn't really look like one.
I've seriously stopped shopping at Walmart even before these pics showed up. Now I'm going to have to be more careful about goods from China altogether. I know parts of China are pretty much ruined because they dump waste unethically. I've seen pictures of one of their main rivers and its pretty much sludge (kind of like Lake Michigan, HAH!). I've also heard stories that factory workers are suffering from metal poisonings. Its terribly sad. But with all the recalls going on and these kinds of things... whew. Check those labels people.

i really think they are on their way. I used to shop there in the late 90s but I stopped when the quality went from poor to total shit.
If i have to shop i go to Target, which is marginally better.
Man I hate walmart. I used to work in the pharmacy at one, though, and I should give credit where credit is due; I wouldn't be where I am today without the dirty bastards.

how's your coat?
funny you should ask. my coworker got a tiny streak of chocolate on it last night and vehemently denied it was her but I accused her through the entire day. It was fun. But now I have to go get it drycleaned!:(

I'm gonna go out on a limb and confess that between Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, and all those other stores, Wal-Mart is by far my favorite. I don't care whether the average tooth count at Wal-Mart is a bit lower than the national average; it's the only one of the big retailers that always has what I'm looking for in stock. It's always cheaper than the others, too. I don't buy into Target's bullshit "hip" image; the shelves are often empty and the prices shitty. There aren't enough K-Marts around here anymore to do a proper comparison, but every one that I've ever been to has looked like a college kid's dorm room--everything out of place, lights broken, floors unmopped, etc. Give me Wal-Mart any day.
You may now proceed to treat me the way Buzzetta gets treated whenever he celebrates his carnivorousness.

Kmarts are Definitely the worst. but as far as walmarts go you are just LUCKY. mine are totally ghettofied; such extreme long lines i can't even bother to wait (i mean really long). never enough people to help and often totally messed up to where you can't find what you're looking for.
my targets are clean and well stocked. even the 'ghetto' one. and some of the prices are way better than even walmart depending on what you eat/need.

I generally detest Walmart but I do have to say that in a major natural disaster they have their act together. They were able to get food and supplies into the hurricane ravaged areas much quicker than any of the government agencies.
I am boycotting Made in China as much as possible. I don't trust them at all to comply with our safety regulations. Their products do not last so it's not cheaper in the long run.

Why don't you just take all the mom and pop's out of their stores, line them up in the street, and shoot them in the head? You'd being doing Walmart's work for them.:)

Not a bad idea. Who the hell has the time to go from tiny shop to tiny shop to get your shopping done? And I could even buy the firearms and bullets at (wait for it)...Wal-Mart!

Does this mean that you are going to take pictures of yourself paying for something at Walmart?

If the circumstances call for it. At the rate that this thread is (not) going, it doesn't look like they will.

this is off topic, but dude, i saw a preview for this new gameshow where they hook people up to a lie detector test and they win money if they answer correctly. but they ask them horrible questions. and they asked one chick if she actually cared about the starving children in Africa, and she thought for a second then said, "no..." and she got booed REAL BAD. and that reminded me of you. just thought I'd let you know. :p

They would never let me on such a show. We were laughing about it the other day. My friends and I have no shame. Add a substantial amount of money to the mix and I will tell you anything you want to know about anything.

Those people are such hypocrites. I'm willing to bet they don't give a fuck about the children in Africa either.

I so hate Walmart and never shop there. My mall is anchored by one and the mall is so trashy now. The people who shop annoy me, most of the workers have no clue. I feel like I lose IQ points everytime I go in there. Target totally rocks, go there all the time.

The other Walmart near me is even worse than mine. Though I went there when it 1st opened and bought a Skinny Puppy cd, that was odd.

My $5 Wal-Mart Croc rip-offs scraped the ice & snow off of my car the other day. Granted, they're not flip-flops, but that's pretty impressive, IMHO. I'd buy 'em again. Thanks, armies of Chinese sweatshop workers and your Arkansan taskmasters!
