Ahem.
Swashbuckler...
Maybe this is the result of all those Sweeny Todd posters making me dreamy,
but isnt there a similairty between The Cookies 'Only to other people.'
Which I can only give you on MySpace..

And
'The girl least likely to?'
I can definately hear a similar sound there...
I can also see young Steven adoring the lyrics in his little bedroom.

Hmmm...it's an well known fact that The Girl Least Likely To is heavily influenced by The Cookies' Only To The Other People.

Simon Goddard and others pointed out it earlier.

That is SO FANTASTIC. I almost, wow. I'm stunned. I love this. I love it because the message of the two songs connect so perfectly. Obviously it was influenced musically. But listen to them both. I LOVE THIS COOKIES SONG! I NEED MORE!!!!!!!

I agree! I've never heard The Cookies' version before, just read about it.

Which makes the song THAT MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL to your plight.

My plight?

Oh, look, they did "Chains," too, which the Beatles covered in 1963. Or was that before The Cookies' version?

EDIT: I suppose that I could have read their bio before asking such a stupid question.

We all have a plight. Morrissey wrote a song about it, something about it never going out.

Touché.

Personally, I think the more meaningful question was who is your favorite Cookie?

Ringo.
