Not entirely clear whether it includes a new interview. Says it features '25 years of conversations with Morrissey'.
Guess it should be in the shops over the next few days...

Yes, Word is available here. Hopefully the cd in this issue is included as well. Not always the case.

Should get here by the beginning of February.

As the unofficial Times Square correspondent here I can confirm that Virgin Times Square is one place I know that carries it; Magazines Around the World on 40th and 6th across from the library is another; and the magazine shop in the Grace Building on 43rd and 6th.

I also cover the waterfront, but for different reasons entirely.

In addition to the above info., I would add that there's a Virgin Megastore at Union Square that has most of the UK mags (although I've heard rumors of it's demise).

It's a bit much to scan all of it, and the inevitable resizing would bugger up some of the smaller text. Instead, have a new photo of Moz from the article.

Thanks Peter, but the photo was taken in 2004 for Meltdown Festival promotion.
I have postcards of it.
The caption is wrong.

On the facing page it says "Portrait: Frank Bauer for Getty Exclusive" - does this help?

I've checked the postcard, but there's no info about the photographer.
Reverse side is about Time Out subscription info, it was the event sponsor at that time.
I'll give you one when I see you 26th. ;)

Now there's an offer!
Unfortunately, due to a momumental cock-up, I won't be attending on the 26th. Boo hoo.

Kewpie is correct. This photo was used along with some others that appeared in Time Out magazine around the time of Meltdown.

Morrissey was interviewed by the writer Peter Arnott and some photos were taken in the closed underground station.

One of my favorite interviews, btw. It included the memorable quote, "I was born in rain, raised in rain, and didn't seek shelter until I was 13" or something like that along the lines.

You do realise that posting pics like this one will induce involuntary frinky behaviour and comments?

Oh dear. Then someone should tell them that the photo credit is wrong. There's some other photos in the article, icluding one splendid one of Moz sticking his tongue out, pulling a face. Shall I post it?

Am I a paper boy? Hee hee, well sort of. I have a route of sorts.

Let's just say I know the area enough to find what I need.

To Vivabob and others as requested, below is the Time Out article as it appeared in the June 2-9 2004 issue.

Its a short article, but a nice read and I've included the image in question. The interview itself briefly mentions the local of the photoshoot.

I mentioned in my last post that the writer was Peter Arnott. His name is in fact Jake Arnott.

I must have had Peter on the mind! :p Enjoy.

Excellent post - sorry for being dense - who's the bloke stood next to Moz?

Peter

**EDIT** - DUH! I got it now.
