I hate sports, but I still usually end up dating hardcore sports fans who will ignore me on Sundays to watch football.
I could be standing in front of him, naked, holding a plate of wings and a keg of beer and he'll tell me to come back after the game is over.
(This never happened, but I'm sure it would.)
I have a new rule of not dating (american) football fans anymore.
Would I date someone that loved football, but also loved Morrissey..yeah, I guess I would, because meeting any man that loved Morrissey in my area would be a fucking miracle..lol :D

sorry, I'm tired of the Pat's ... I'm kinda pulling for Indy and Seattle too . If for nothing else, those are my brother's teams =o) I would have been okay with the Steelers beating the Jags -I just enjoyed the game!- cuz I'm a Steelers fan from way back (my first fave team). Bradshaw days =o)

BLASPHEMER! As a hardcore Cowboys' fan, I think the scoreboard shows Dallas 2, Giants 0 this season. Ware, Spears, Ratliff, Canty, and Ellis are going to bring a ton more pressure on Eli this Sunday than he got in the Tampa game. Romo, Witten, Marion "the barbarian" Barber, Terrible Owens, and that offensive line dominates the Giants this Sunday. The 'Boys come in rested and ready.
Corrissey, you're just bitter because we throttled the Bears on a nationally televised Sunday night game!:)
Please everyone, save your venom for the Pat's. They're the real evil empire. Oh,

If the Cowboys bus went careening off a bridge and exploded in a blazing inferno...the only big loss would be Jessica Simpson. ;):p
Yeah, the Brokeback Cowboys beat the Giants twice this year. But we've got momentum and are ridiculous on the road this year. I have not been this confident in the Giants since their Superbowl showdown with the Ravens and we all remember how well that turned out. Oh...um...nevermind. HAHAHA
Big Blue will crush Romo Simpson like a gnat. BWAHAHAHA!

Yes, they are 8-1 on the road. The loss: at Dallas. I was much more afraid of the 'Skins because Cowboy/'Skins games are like college rivalries. Anything can happen and you can through the record book out because it is meaningless.
Eli is the key to The Giants. I'm just not sure he can handle the pressure the Cowboys will bring. Tampa played in a terrible division, and by now everyone knows how to take apart the Tampa Two. The hybrid 3/4 the Cowboys are running this year is sweet. I love Ware and Ellis as OLB's bringing the heat. We'll have Newman and Henry healthy in the secondary and when they bring Roy Williams up to the line to blitz, well Eli better find the hot route fast or else it'll be a turnover fest.

um, good for you. :D Or her :p but I was referring to 'me' & our conversation. Additional research shows I'm in the 'stinky half' of the population. Not to mention cursed with my 'dog nose' at inopportune times
Asparagus is filled with sulfur-containing amino acids that break down during digestion into six sulfur-containing compounds. These can impart a unique smell to urine as they are excreted. "It's the same sulfur group that makes skunks smell," said Barbara Hodges, a dietician with Boston University's nutrition clinic, the Evans Nutrition Group.
Scientists remain divided on why people have different urinary responses to eating asparagus. One camp thinks only about half of the population have a gene enabling us to break down the sulfurous amino acids in asparagus into their smellier components. Others think that everyone digests asparagus the same way, but only about half of us have a gene that enables us to smell the specific compounds formed in the digestion of asparagus
Oh, one other thing, cyber pal ... our favorite hybrid 'Mariel' was a doctor on ER the other night. big role change, huh  curse them for pulling that show off the air!!

Jesus, I can't believe I'm in the position to be defending Jessica Simpson. First off, it was Tony Romo and Jason Witten, that's it. They are best friends, and yes on a team sanctioned weekend they traveled to Mexico for a vacation with the Simpson family. So what?! You're from New York, I'm sure Joe Namath and Wilt Chamberlain had a few "weekends" in their day to. In Wilt's case, a few on the way to the game...:)

Jesus, this is *exactly* how I wanted to spend my morning! :)
Okay, here’s the deal. Jessica asked her dad to contact Tony Romo’s or his agent to see if he’d like to go on a date. From everything I’ve heard, this is par for the course for celebrities. I think Jessica’s dad handles her career, so it made sense he would make the call. Honestly, the little I know of Jessica is she seems like a decent person, not overly bright yes, but not a ‘ho either. I really don’t understand why this is such a story. I think the fact her parents were her them is fine. I’ve gone on weekends to a girlfriend’s parent’s vacation home. I don’t see how this is controversial? Is it because all Eli Manning can scare up are some ‘hood rats?

HAHAHAHA! Reminds me of a pre-calc test that I had in 10th grade or so. The teacher said that we could make our own cheat sheet, but it had to be on only one side of a standard sheet of paper. Well, I made mine into a Möbius strip (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6bius_strip), which is technically one-sided, and walked into the test with it around my neck. The teacher took one look at, tried to suppress a smile, and just shrugged his approval as I walked to my seat. Good times, good times.

If it makes you feel better, I felt the way you feel while watching Chargers Vs Indy. It was so painful I thought I was going to cry! But I have to give it to the Chargers. They're game was crisp, clean and deserved the win. HOWEVER: I am concerned that Rivers and Tomlinson are beaten up. This does NOT bode well for the game against New England. If I had to send one of those two teams to NE to win I'd pick Indy only because they are still generally in one piece.
I really wanted another showdown bt manning and brady. I may still get it if the giants can tolerate Lambeau.

Aw he's not slow, he's an ex-pussy. At the beginning of this season he was acting like he was scared to death of running and sacks. Now he's toughened up and has some real fire in him! I knew he could do it. I think he was suffering from lack of 100% confidence.

Even if the Giants fall next week this Sunday's game was possibly the most important game in the last four years if they are willing to continue building a team around Eli.
It was this Sunday that Eli advanced when Peyton did not. On top of that Eli advances over what was possibly the second strongest team in the NFL for the 2007-8 season. Eli enters camp next year out of his brother's shadow and with a confidence that he has not had in previous years. When Tiki and Ronde said he couldn't he did. He had all the pressure on him in the world and he advanced.
The Giants will already be a better franchise for the next few years based upon yesterday's game.

(Just FYI, I've said about 40 times i am ok w/whoever wins bc all the frontrunners are satisfactory to me. I just prefer mccain bc i think he can finish the mess in Iraq the right way. We cant just ditch and run like some ppl want us to. it'll cause a bigger problem. so thats kind of where i am right now.)
I think he can win against GB but its going to be by a slim margin. The weather is going to be killer for those boys. But Favre has 2 things against him; a)he's already been to the superbowl so its not quite necessary for him to go again and b)a lot of his boys are n00bs.
I think Eli can do it, but its going to be a tougher game than against NE. THey lost NE due to disorganization. they shoulda won.

Okay Giant fan, you've been needling me about Romo and Simpson only to discover your only Pro Bowler, Osi Umenyiora, is a sick freak. If you have a weak stomach or easily grossed out, look away...look away...
January 16, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that a website has popped up claiming making shocking allegations against NY Giants star Osi Umenyiora.
Here's what the blog poster said. We hope that this site is just some kind of a joke:
Now let's talk about Osi Umenyiora of the New York Giants. He does likes it nasty in the bedroom. As a magazine model i get introduced to him last summer in NY by a friend of his who also used to play football for a team that I can't remember. We hooked up and he had an unusual request. He wanted to pee on me. I thought it was weird but I did so because he said he it would really turn him on and he would see me again if I did. After I did so in his bathroom he handled his business and asked me how I liked it. I said, "I don't know how I feel about it. It was kind of crazy."
Yep, he flew me to Atlanta with my kids for some event that he had with another player and wanted the same request. Then I spent some time with him nearby while a music video was being shot at his house!! He wanted me to have sex with him and one of his brothers at the same time. He also wanted me to try it with another one of his teammates that was staying there. I said no because I didn't want to be passed around like that. He did buy my jewelry. The diamond snow ball. Oh and all the me money. I did invite a friend to join us (My hot girl "L" that has done shoots with me) and he wanted to DEFECATE on her in his bathtub. My GOSH she let him do it but I wanted no part. I'm a freak, but my gosh.
The next time I was with him he offered me 3 grand if I let him defecate on me and I said no. He told me to leave and so I did. The next time he asked and I did and I accepted the 3 grand. And it became a regular thing. He began flying me to Florida and Atlanta last summer paying my bills, giving me money for my kids as long as I let him well, "shit" on me. He was in Atlanta for a major taping for "work" he said at his house and that night he told me to defecate on him. Of course he said he was joking but i reallly wonder.
I may sound nasty too, but he was paying my bills and I was traveling to see him wherever he was. But this boy is a freak!! He did all this when he had a girl pregnant. I only knew about her because of a phone call that I overheard one night. My girls and I have stories for days.

My all time favorite athlete story is Najeh Davenport, now a running back for the Steelers. Davenport was caught growing a tail in the closest of his ex-girlfriend. Great....
"Mary McCarthy, a student at Barry University in Miami, Florida, told police she was awakened in the middle of the night by strange sounds last April. She investigated and found a man in her closet defecating into her laundry basket.
Police charge that the felonious feces belong to Najeh Davenport, a fullback with the Green Bay Packers. But they did not perform DNA tests to link the player to the poop, which police reportedly swiftly discarded.
Inquiring minds want to know why the evidence Davenport allegedly left behind wasn't analyzed for DNA in order to link him to the contents of the laundry basket.
"Whether it was Najeh is definitely in dispute," Davenport's attorney, Richard Sharpstein, told a reporter from the Associated Press shortly after the athlete surrendered to police on July 1.
"The truth will come out in the wash."
After agreeing to perform 100 hours of community service to relieve himself of the criminal charges, Davenport vehemently denied leaving a dormitory deposit.
"Where's the evidence? Where's the manure?" Davenport asked outside court, according to reports from South Florida news station WPLG. "All that stuff to build a case against me, they don't have?"
Miami Shores Sergeant Robert Knowles was quoted in an Associated Press report as saying police "did not preserve the feces because it cannot yield DNA samples and would have been useless as evidence."
But human feces do contain DNA and have been used in forensic investigations (PDF).
"DNA is the blueprint for life; therefore, everything living or anything naturally produced by anything living contains DNA," said Wise Young, head of Rutgers University's Keck Neuroscience lab. "It is possible to isolate DNA from the intestinal cells passed out of the body into human feces."
A glossary produced by the Virginia Institute of Forensic Science and Medicine lists usable biological evidence as including "blood, urine, semen, feces, tissue, decomposition fluid, saliva, tears, mucus, perspiration, vomitus and pus."
Police in Miami Shores refused comment on the evidence, as the case could return to court if Davenport does not complete his community service stint.
But a Manhattan detective who is familiar with the case suggested that the Miami police were not referring to the lack of DNA in human feces in general, but the lack of recoverable DNA in this specific case.
"Samples need to be pretty clean to extract DNA," the detective, who requested she not be identified, explained. "Dung left in a hamper full of dirty clothes isn't the optimum sample. The contents of the basket could be rife with all sorts of DNA."
Experts agree that human feces are not the forensic specimen of choice. The intestinal cells have to survive the digestion process before passing through the intestinal system, and bacterial contamination tends to further result in low yields of analyzable DNA.
DNA extracted from dung is typically used in wildlife studies. Woodland creatures are also rather cavalier about where they deposit such samples, leaving scientists a wealth of analyzable evidence.
Scientists and zoologists have used DNA extracted from animal feces to determine feeding and migration patterns.
"Human shit could be used to identify an alleged perpetuators 'migrations' as well, placing a careless or slob criminal at a crime scene," the Manhattan detective confirmed. "We're usually less than concerned about their feeding patterns, though."
According to police reports, Davenport was in the Miami Shores area, visiting friends near Barry University, on the night the laundry basket was abused. The owner of the closet in question identified Davenport from a football yearbook photo.
Manhattan criminal attorney Edward Hayes said the missing movement wouldn't have been of great concern to him if he'd been representing Davenport.
"I have no clue if there is DNA in feces," Hayes said. "I don't know and I don't want to know.
"If I had this case, I would do just what the lawyer did -- get a quick disposition and not fight over anything," Hayes added. "It's too embarrassing. He'll be a laughingstock forever."
Davenport's lawyer appears to share Hayes' sentiment.
"Thanks to the plea deal, it won't be necessary for us to dig to the bottom of this situation, and we're just going leave it where it was," Sharpstein told a reporter from WPLG.
If Davenport completes his community service, a felony charge of second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief will be dropped. "
