we were talking about this on whatever your thinking. Even though I am scottish, I still thought Rhydian should have won.

I`ve not been more upset by a result before.Leon just is bland and has no power in his voice.

They seemed to turn the format of the show into a patriotic contest between the three and that isn`t right because people will be voting out of loyalty to their nation and not because of their real inclinations.

I hope Rhydian does well as he is brilliant.

oh its that bloody Louis that does that, stupid so it is. I can assure you it did not make me want to vote anyway.

obviously these peope have no talent whatsoever apart from good singing voices but Rydian was head and shoulders above everyone tonight .

the english represenatation were a total shambles and joke . no doubt the public must have been 7 or 8 years old to vote for them !

I'm Scottish and I agree. I have never watched any of the previous X factors but I watched quite a bit of this one, for one reason only and that was Rhydian. I think he has an amazing voice and great stage presence.

I knew Rhydian would loose the minute the final was turned in to a Scotland v England v whales contest. I thought this show was about talent. What on earth has nationality got to do with anything? “Vote for Leon because he’s our Scottish hero” How on earth is he a hero. He’s just a little 18 year boy singing, someone else’s songs, on a stage every Saturday night. And I wonder if these same patriotic people will go out and buy his music. I think not.

it's obvious it turned out to be a wales v scotland thing . Scotland is a bigger country than Wales hence why he won .

Yeah I saw that too but I’m sure if we could had a closer look in to the audience we probably would have seen that it was full of young teenage girls. He has that pop starry look.

Rhydian was one of the few contestants without a sob story. I think Leon played his "I'm just doing this to give my mum a better life" card way too often and cried his eyes out at every opportunity. I'm not saying he wasn't being genuine but like I said this show is supposed to be about talent. I don't think these things should influence the vote. I mean have you ever gone out and bought someone's single or album because the artist was sensitive and good to their mum? It worked for him on the show but not in the real world.

I just think Leon won for all the wrong reasons and because of that I don't think his career will last.

I know the sad background music would come on and it was like oh her we go again.

Sorry just another thing that really annoys me about these shows is that the presenters always ask the finalist the same question, “when you auditioned for the first time, did you ever think you would be standing here in the final” as if they’re going to say yes. Even Rhydian, as honest and confident as he is wouldn’t be that stupid.

Why do I even watch this show? :D

Leon really won it for me on the last song:imperfect but full of feeling ,emotion and fragility.

Whereas,Rhydian was all technique,show ,pomp and VOLUME :eek:

The best man won
