Oh my, you and Nugz are so forward!
I would like to have Morrissey live next door to me. That way I could pop around for some tea and toast and then we could go shopping for records at Amoeba together and then to dinner at our favorite vegetarian restaurant. When we would come at night, then we could pop in our favorite 1960's black and white British realism DVDs and laugh and cry to our hearts content. Then we would just snuggle until both of us fell asleep!

I voted Europe

And I really can imagine Morrissey spending his lonely days in a countrylike
villa in the south of France, in a small village playing Jue De Boulle, sipping
whine and eat some bread with cheese at the town square

It could be south Italie, or northern Spain [asturia], who have the same
kinda landcsape, where the whole village knows eachother, and they
havent change since 1895

I bet it will happen something like this, or Mike Joyce has to stop his
moneygrabbing, and HE can spend his life in his beloved Albion

I would like him to live in my attic.I`d take good care of him, feed him nice veggie meals, untrusse him for a bit of petting occassionally.Let him out on the leash every other day.:p

Actually I think he should live in Blighty. But i can imagine him being sad at all his old haunts being regenerated.....you know Mcdonalds sprouting up where there used to be cobbled streets and dirty faced children.

My neighbor's house is for sale - a huge Victorian with a tower and everything. It's available for a song (!) due to the recent housing downturn. I'd love to see him puttering around the garden, and dropping by for some vegan scones on the weekend. Plus, this is the kind of town where "nice" folks don't live - so there are no tupperware parties, but we do have Pagan revels.

It's a buyer's market here in America, so he should consider that when making his decision. Plus, he could have loads of mischievous fun knowing that the FBI would be listening in on his phone conversations and monitoring his internet use.

Yes Mike is a fine guy sitting in the pub drinking a pint, he sure can give
you the night of yer life telling all the stories, he;seems a very aproachable
down to earth man
But you can't leave the hate between him and Morrissey out cause he's
the one whose responseble for that Morrissey can't have a house or a
cat in the UK, cause Mike will take it
I know peole will say, well it's easy to solve, Morrissey's got enough money,
just pay him the other 700.000 grand he owes to Mike [it was 1.2 mil, and
he payed half a mil allready, as I'm right informed], but we aren't Morrissey,
aint we?

haha no way, i don't think you can live in big cities like Rome, LA and Manchester, and then move to Saint-"X".
Besides most "small villages" are just as modern as big cities but ..smaller... with "small village" people (with small village minds), and no cool concerts.

Maybe you are talking about those really, really, small towns where only old people live, and where most people that have lived in the civilized world take a quick picture and RUN.

no way, specially if you're a rock star used to being recognized and praised at least once a day.

EDIT: no way, Unless your name is Jhonny Depp.

I see. I put that quote because I like Pete Doherty. I thought of "Manchester, so much to answer for" and "London, giddy London", but then I thought it was too much.

rome seems to be ideal inan interview he descríbed" how it feels great to be among /in the midst ofpeople and that the people practially spend most of their time outside" and compares it to the way it was in l.a.

but i hope he lives somehere where no "fan" stalker finds out where he lives (like in l.a. where people constantly gather in front of his house in l.a )
so he finally gets a rest

l.a. fans dont feel offended
but if l.a is really "his strongest fanbase" then i wonder why the concerts in l.a.2007 had not been sold out? so ticketmaster had to offer discount tixs to get them sold ! compared to the britsh gigs who where sold out very very quickly (some of them like the one at the weekend within a few minutes)

yeah scotland would be great!
scotland is sooo beautiful and there are enough space to get a house there away from the fuzz somewhere in the scottish wilderness /countryside where no one would approach him..and he could live his life more peacefully

and if he needs to upload his batteries a quick visit in inverness glasgow or edinburgh (for observation of the people or for playing gigs) and then back again into peace and quietness
if he would live in manchester or london he surely cant leave his house and cant go anywhere..but he seem´s be more like a "town man" eh?
maybe when he is older he will do that "living on the countryside i guess he needs that observation of people to write (he did say something like that in an interview too) and towns are crowed with all these strange creatures-
but if he one day will retire (please let this date be very far away) he surely will move on to the countryside to get a rest

or and IRELAND!!!
..where his origins are - would also be great a wonderful place on earth to live....more or less the same i said about scotland counts for ireland too so laid back and a its sooo beautiful there-stop me before i begin to enthúse about ireland:-)

That's true. But in L.A. he isn't constantly being attacked by the media. The British press over there scrutinize his every word. In fact, (in m opinion:)) Here they talk about what an impact he's made on so many people. From what I know, no one has ever publicly said anything hateful about him in the media here. Actually, he really isn't part of it, compared to how it is in Brittiain. He gets alot of privacy in Los Angeles.
