A Child Ill - Intro

'A Child Ill' by Sir John Betjeman was used as the intro for the gig in CA last night, apparently. It was last used in 2002.

I for one am delighted as it's my favourite Morrissey-gig intro

. Does anyone know if the 'Bells' followed the poem?

I believe so since it's about the death of his father (if I'm not mistaken).

No Bells. Was rather disconcerting to see Moz on the stage before Betjeman's voice faded out.
