Is DAR Constitution Hall as horrific as I'm told?

For a bunch of ludicrous reasons, I wasn't able to get tickets on the presale and ended up with HH center orchestra seats--I'm not trying to rush the stage or anything--but I'm hearing from multiple sources that the venue sucks, the sound is terrible, you can't dance, etc. On the 2004 thread people seem mixed about the venue--help anyone?

I don't know what everyone was complaining about last time he was there, I think it's an okay venue, if not great. My HS graduation was there so I have fond memories of the place.

I haven't ever sat in the double letters before, but people tell me the seating further in the back is elevated.

It's alright. I think they have to close down at 11. I saw Arcade Fire there and it was really good. The sound was good enough.

Thanks for the feedback--I was there for a graduation too lol. But I am surrounded by 9:30 club, Black Cat scenesters--you know being from D.C. we have to complain about something. Now I'm not so discouraged!
