Well spotted, but David collected the stories earlier and posted those in Febrary 1997 because it's about the court case, very important story.

David T designed the Internet in 1973 (http://www.ideafinder.com/history/inventions/internet.htm) as a means of international scientific communication and discussion of rock star's sexuality. The mechanics to operate it were not actually in place until 1983 (although there was a network prophetically, between California and London in 1977). Is it only a coincidence that The Smiths and The Internet developed at roughly the same time?

These forums are new. It used to look and operate a lot differently, more like the main page is now.

In April 2006 David introduced a new software vBulletin, all the existing members also had to re-register.

We have a thread going in other topics concerning a similar theme.

Some people believe that David created the site
Some people believe that the site simply evolved from all other Morrissey sites.
Some people, myself included, believe that the evolution of this site was all part of David's plan.
